Kanteen25 is a culinary playground where we celebrate good food, connection, young talent, and quality. We love people and we are eager to listen, to learn, and to taste what they have to bring to the table. We see good food as the carrier of true connection: we cook, we eat, we share, we make memories.
We embrace all cultures in our kitchen and use it as inspiration to fuel our menu choices. Our international chefs each tell their unique story through the food they make. We base all our decisions on three central pillars: be local, be sustainable, or make a social impact. That’s how each ingredient in our seasonal menu also has its own story to tell.
We believe everyone deserves an equal opportunity for a better future. In collaboration with City of Amsterdam, we developed Cooks25: an in-house hospitality program turning refugees into talents in the commercial kitchen. After trainees complete the program, we place them in a company within the field of hospitality.

I personally believe that transformation is an on-going process and more importantly in the culture and not just in the appearance. Transformation is the change that you cannot turn back again.

Black Starling is het innovatieteam van Accor Hotels Nederland, bestaande uit 8 hand-picked professionals die op een impactvolle manier werken aan verrassende, innovatieve processen, producten en concepten binnen de Nederlandse organisatie. Gestart als een geheim ('black') project koos het team voor de codenaam 'Black Starling'. De kleine, wendbare spreeuw ('starling') was de beste metafoor tegen over het hotelbeeldmerk van de grote gans.
