For 13+ years, I worked in healthcare and with military families, helping people at their lowest lows and their best moments. But I saw the same pattern over and over. People work hard for their money… but never learn how to make it work for them.

When we moved to Utah, when there was so much stacked against it, mid-COVID, living in a hotel with my son, I finally said yes to real estate. I was scared. I wasn’t great with money. But I dove in.

We lent on our first deal. Then another. Then another. All while acquiring more properties, doing syndications. In 7 months, we hit our 3-year financial goal.

Now I help others do the same, build their wealth, especially the communities I know and love, from humble beginnings, medical and military professionals.

👉 I raise capital for secured real estate deals (debt + equity), so others can passively invest without managing every detail.
👉 I am VP at Elevate Côte d’Ivoire a mission-driven nonprofit creating jobs + education across Africa.

“Money Isn’t the Problem, We Are.”


I watched a clip from former Goldman Sachs trader Anton Kreil, and he said something that hits harder the older (and wiser) you get.

“Money isn’t the problem.
The problems come from us,  not the dollars sitting in front of us.”

That one line rewired the way I think about wealth.

Most people blame money...
“Not enough.”
“Too hard to manage.”
“Too stressful.”

But the truth is…
Money is neutral.
Money is math.
Money moves based on our habits, discipline, mindset, and blind spots.

It’s not emotional, we are. Money doesnt care.

When I started taking responsibility for how I treated money, learning it, respecting it how to use it, investing it, everything shifted.

Not because money changed…
but because I did.

Here’s the uncomfortable part...
If money feels chaotic, confusing, or constantly slipping through your fingers…
it’s a mirror, not a monster.

And the moment you take ownership of the person holding the money,
you finally take control of the money itself.

So be kind to others, not just when it’s easy, but especially when it’s not.

This time of year brings out the best in some… and the worst in others.

Traffic gets heavier.
Lines get longer.
Patience gets thinner.
And suddenly the smallest inconvenience feels personal.

You never know what someone else is carrying.

That driver who’s slowing you down?
They might be distracted because they’re overwhelmed or grieving.

That person taking too long in line?
Maybe they’re juggling more than you could imagine.

That parent dropping off something in a rush?
They might be holding it together by a thread today.

We only see the moment that irritates us, not the day, the week, or the year someone else has survived to be standing there.

So before we snap, roll our eyes, or let our frustration spill onto a stranger, we can choose the simplest solution.

Plan better. Leave earlier. Slow down.
And treat people the way we want to be treated.

Kindness isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being aware.
It’s about remembering that we’re all navigating something, quietly, heavily, or painfully.

A little grace can change someone’s entire day.
