I am the Managing Director of Mansell Building Solutions, a Bolton-based specialist contractor building homes using a process we call deconstructed volumetric. I’ve worked in this sector for over 20 years which comes with an unwavering passion for construction and a desire to challenge the industry to improve outcomes for clients and our communities. We all need to challenge and change the way things are done if we want to keep construction afloat and to make it an attractive career option for future generations. Being a proud Mancunian gives me perspective as to what’s right for our region so our business is driven to deliver ‘local homes for local people by local people’. It means we can use our knowledge of Greater Manchester to help build better housing, faster. It means we can find and recruit the best local talent no matter their background and train them up to build homes they may one day live in themselves. It means we keep our local economy going in Bolton. It means we can help contractors meet their client and ESG goals.
