Through this initiative, we engaged with schools and community events to educate young audiences about media and digital literacy. 
Through workshops and interactive sessions, we empowered children to understand, create and critically analyze digital content, fostering a culture of responsible digital citizenship.

Marketing Trends 2024

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝟭 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. 


I've always felt:
→ The different one.
→ Challenging norms.
→ With the craziest ideas.
→ The quieter one in a room.
→ For some I'm socially awkward.
→ Making jokes not everyone gets.
→ Petrified to be the center of attention.
→ Sometimes struggling to articulate my thoughts.
→ Intimidated by those loud big roarrr personalities.
→ And had a strong aversion to the term 'networking'.

I was often nervous to talk to someone whom I told myself was better than me in every way.

But I also know what I want. 
And know I can't follow my calling if I don't put myself out there.

And - for that - networking is one of the best tools.

What helps cut through the noise is sth you hear often: 
"Just be yourself." Easier said than done. 🙄

I've found that 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.

We get nervous around someone because they're particularly successful or they've a lot of status or power, and we start to envy them or over-respect them instead of thinking, 'Wow, what an impressive person,' and rather seeing them as a source of inspiration and learning for us.

When we envy them, we build a wall of communication.

And when we over-respect them, 
we crave their validation instead of building connection.

When we're over-respecting other people's voices in the world, 
we feel like our voice isn't worth anything.

And we fall into the trap of thinking:
"Well, it's all already been said, what am I gonna say that's not new now."

And we stop creating or putting our work out there in the world.

But, having also studied cinema, I've learned that the best stories 
have been told over and over again.

It's just the director's POV that brings freshness. 

So.. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?

Stop worrying about saying the new and start saying it new.

In other words, say it in a fresh way. 

That freshness comes from your authentic story.  No copycats.

It's YOUR story, and you can't possibly mess it up.

It's YOURS. You're the only person who has YOUR perspective in business & life based on what you've been through.

Stop buying into "Fake it till you make it." Everyone else is taken.

From the Wi-Fi router lighting up the office to
the multiple smartphones & gadgets that help us numb ourselves, 
THEY are everywhere: Electromagnetic fields  & Electromagnetic radiation.

What's their real cost to our overall health?

Powerful enough to penetrate our bodies:
✔ Fatigue ✔ Burnout ✔ Mental Stress ✔Cell oxidation

You got the idea: a rather dark place 
- there are countless studies out there.

But you can take the power back. Literally.

We put to the test two devices: 
→  the Frequency Master IV (Elektronik ROM, priced at around 2149 EUR) 
→  a more accessible EMF Meter (Tadeto, ranging between 40 to 100 EUR).

What we've found is also that Apple's iPhones could be exposing 
us to higher levels of EMF compared to Android devices.

We also did a test with iPads (not in the video here). 
Harmful enough.

So, if you have trouble detaching or helping someone disconnect from tech, 
just show them the effects.

Also show this to your employer.

You know... that well-being some companies talk about: 
now you have a tangible way to prove how they're doing that.

Yes, tech is here to stay. I'm a fan of tech.

But... 

just as we wouldn't give a four-year-old a knife 
without teaching them how to use it safely, 
the danger lies not in the tool itself but 
in our response to it.

As we move further into the digital age, 
balancing the potential risks of active & passive consumption is crucial. 

Simple steps:
→ Go back to basics.
→ Minimize screens at home.
→ Charge devices when away.
→ Unplug router & devices when idle.
→ Try earthing: it shields from EMF/EMRs. 
→  Learn about the mindful use of technology.
→  Home office or urban farming office anyone?
→  Before buying, ask questions about electric devices, cars.
→  Set clear boundaries (for ex an out-of-office reminder during weekends, yep, during weekends :)) because those who'll mourn you at your graveyard won't be your clients, employers, nor your LinkedIn contacts.

Almost 10 years ago, I completed the DKV Urban Trail, 
a quite challenging 27 km route in Luxembourg with plenty of hills. 

I think I won... one of the last lines.

Fast forward to today and our 6-year-old son is carving his own path.

Also, my husband went from being in 82nd place almost ten years ago 
to 14th place this year. (Consistent small efforts over time can have a substantial overall long-term effect.)

However, this past weekend served as a stark reminder of a silent tragedy unfolding in our homes every day. 

And, since I believe there are plenty parents and teachers on LinkedIn, I'd like us to pause the pursuit of the next big thing in our careers and instead, 
consider how to strengthen the following cause:

→ OUR CHILDREN. And the future we're building.

Our children are facing alarming mental and emotional challenges!

Over the last 15 years, we've seen concerning statistics 
revealing a significant rise in child mental illness, 
now reaching epidemic levels:

→ ADHD rates have soared by 43%
→ 3 in 5 children struggle with mental stress 
→ Child & Teenage depression has increased by 37%
→ The suicide rate among children aged 10 to 14 skyrocketed by 200%

So, what's causing this, and where are we going wrong?

Today's children are bombarded with stimuli and material possessions, 
yet they lack the fundamental pillars of a healthy childhood, such as:

✓ Proper nutrition and sufficient sleep
✓ Clear boundaries and responsibilities
✓ Opportunities for creative play & boredom
✓ Outdoor activities and connection with peers
✓ Emotional presence (not just physical) from parents

Instead, many children are growing up with:

- Unhealthy lifestyles - including the wrong use of technology
- Emotional neglect from parents or digitally distracted parents
- A sense of entitlement without understanding the value of work

What should we do?

If we want our children to be happy and healthy individuals, 
we must wake up and return to the basics! 

Rediscovering simplicity - The real and deeper work starts with us.

A parent said: Be careful where you walk.
The son said: You be careful. I follow your footsteps.

Sow the seeds you can harvest later. 

It's easier to build strong kids than to repair broken men.

But for that we first need to WAKE UP.

For me that means, less time on my phone and more time with my kids.

A CEO once told me: 

'Andra, you need to help us find our purpose.' 
(I was a new hire in marketing. He knew I was purpose-obsessed. I told him their marketing efforts are not sustainable because of that lack of purpose.).

Purpose? Huh. 

He talked a lot about:
- the need to be nr 1
- beating the competition 
- the KPIs on his spreadsheet. 

I wish CEOs knew:

Purpose comes from the leadership, the founders, 
not from the marketers. 

Not having a clear purpose, beyond just making money, 
is like finding your way in the dark. 

Marketing's role is to translate that into content 
that moves people and inspires them to take action. 

Purpose is not "We want to be number 1".

Purpose is not "We want to make money".

Purpose is not "To beat our competitors".

Without a real action-driven purpose, marketing is superficial.

No wonder there are no results.

It's not about how quickly you can market.

It's about how deeply you can connect.

21 things I've tested out lately (hint: can help with your growth).


1. The reason innovation is low is because people don't invest in education. 

2. The more investment in education → the better the innovation → 
The more prosperity for the individual, for the company & the society overall.

3. If we believe education means formal education, 
we only value people based on their degrees.
Education goes beyond a formal degree. 
It's workshops, trainings etc, and also surrounding yourself 
with people who don't see things like you do.

4. Your strongest forces for marketing are your employees. 
Even those who don't work for you anymore. 
So choose wisely how you make people feel seen & heard, 
even when you let them go. 
A damaged brand reputation hampers your growth.

5. Your problems are yours to solve — nobody will come to save you.
Action & self-discipline beat a hundred self-help books any day.

6. Someone makes 10x more than you do 'cuz they have more 
"leverage" with their failures & work ethics. Leverage your "hard".

7. Employee or entrepreneur, 
you don't get paid for how much effort you put into something. 
You get paid & promoted for the results. 
Entrepreneur or employee: Choose your "hard".

8. Distractions kill your growth — They damage your focus. 
But purpose can help you focus and cut through the noise.

9. Only take advice from those who've achieved what you want in life.
But listen to haters. They actually confirm your mindset is valuable.

10. Content is NOT king → Connection is king.
And loyalty has the greatest power.

11. Knowing HOW to do marketing & sales can earn you 
more money in the next 90 days than any degree.

12. Learn about values. 
Because people make investments based on them. 
For some, the image is very important. 
(they'll invest in cars, watches, clothes, nails etc.) 
For others, values like health are important 
(they'll invest in bikes, sports, therapy, massages, etc). 
There is no right or wrong. 
The best marketing taps into your audiences' values, fears, and dreams.

13. You can be rich and anonymous or famous and poor.
Don't aim for the "followers". These are vanity metrics.

14. Stop being shy - go out and create your opportunities.

15. Sugar = 0 benefits - it blocks your growth.

16. Comfort is a dangerous addiction that can lead to depression.

17. Don't overshare - some people will use it against you.

18. Set high standards - don't settle for less. The universe has your back.

19. When you take things personally, it leads to unnecessary mental stress—people's actions are never about you. 
They're a reflection of the struggles they carry inside themselves. 
But be very mindful: It's not your job to save them either.

20. If you ever start to take things personally, you need to change the environment. 
Because a healthy environment will always bring out the best in you.

21. If tomorrow you are left without any money, 
that's when you'll be able to prove how rich you are. 
Your richness is YOU.

LinkedIn is full of "I made it" stories.

You scroll, you see:
→ 7-figure businesses.
→ Promotions.
→ Awards.

But not many share their "behind the scenes".

You don't see:
→ The failures and setbacks that pave the way for learning & growth.
→ The endless grind. Chaos. Disappointments. Sleepless nights.
→ The supportive partners and mentors behind the scenes.

If you’re seeking investors in your own journey, 
remember they come in many forms.

Some are 
→ Mental
→ Spiritual
→ Financial
→ Emotional

Others just teach you how to be stronger all by yourself. 

And they're often closer than you think.

Find them, cherish them, and let them know.

One thing not many people know about me: 


Never mention this in my CV. 

Haven't listed it on LinkedIn either.

I have a background in cinema (some of my work is on IMDb.com). 

Left that industry because the creation process took too long for me.

Wanted to still be creative but see results faster, like in marketing.

While traveling the world with cinema, I met some famous and yet most grounded people. 
 
At 23, while in Cannes, I've got to work for a quite influential one.

At 27, I was selected as a Talent at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale). 

Some of the few projects I've worked on in my twenties got some prestigious awards.

But the real magic was in the encounters. 

When I met Gael García Bernal back at the Sarajevo Film Festival, 
pictured here with me and our team, he told me sth I took with me to marketing:
→ Good work takes time.
→ But the best work comes out of the blue.
→ The role of any creator is to express the unexpressible.

Creators come in many forms. 

From founders, marketers, to innovators & more, 
they all have a responsibility to authentically express:
→ Ideas,
→ Emotions,
→ or Concepts.

Those are difficult to articulate or convey by sticking to conventional norms. 

→ 𝗜𝗳 𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼.

I reaaaally wish more CEOs, marketers and clients would embrace this thought, 
so we can avoid being spammed with salesy copy-cats.

Mental stress is a NORMAL response 
to ABNORMAL circumstances 
we ALL experience at some point in our lives.

That doesn't mean anything is wrong with us.

As hard as it is to talk about, it took the right person to wake me up to that.

Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something. 

Impossible is nothing!

Here's how: 

1. Identify & create a strong purpose (cause) to pursue. 
→ You need that purpose as much as you need air to breathe. 

2. Consistent small efforts. 
→ Small daily efforts will have a substantial overall long-term effect.

3. Supportive Community. 
→ The people who surround you, will either break or make you. 
Because: “Confidence” comes from the Latin 'con' (with) and 'fidere' (trust).

In other words: you build trust in yourself WITH people. 

CONfidence doesn't come from within. 

It's not the same as self-esteem. 

CONfidence in making things happen is built WITH the people 
you surround yourself with. 
→ Your colleagues, employers, friends, peers, family etc

So, if ever you struggle with confidence, 
now you know why. 

Every person, regardless of age, has incredible potential within, 
especially if those three factors are in place: 
purpose - work - people who go WITH you (not against) you. 

Take this 3 year-old as proof. 

I won't tell you how many people told me 
he'd be too young to learn how to read.

Even teachers today, when asking me how come he can read so well, 
don't believe it's real.

But at 2, he knew the alphabet. 
And at almost 3 (in this video) he was able to read.

Believe in the human potential.

Just because some say it's impossible, 
doesn't mean it really is.

Impossible is nothing especially if given the right conditions: 
→ purpose 
→ small daily steps 
→ the people "WITH" you.

5 things I need to get off my chest after working for many years in content creation and seeing how AI disrupts all of that:


𝟭. 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝘃𝘀. 𝗛𝗶𝗙𝗶 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁.

Mastering one doesn't automatically make you a pro at the other. 
Also, even if you've worked on acclaimed movies before, 
that doesn't mean you can just snap your fingers 
and everything you touch will turn into gold. 

Don't expect the social videos one produces to be Hollywood standard.

That's a different ball game. 
And budget. 

It just doesn't work like that. 

𝟮. 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

Even with AI.

𝟯. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 is not 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Your A-Cast also won't guarantee success. 

And neither your most expensive camera will. 

Otherwise, haven't you heard about 
Snoop Dogg's 'Giving Up Smoke' multi-million failed Ad? 

You need to produce content that resonates 
deeper, beyond milestones and KPIs. 

The only way to go deep is to dare to be vulnerable.

If you manage to tap into your TA's biggest fears and their dreams, 
connection will just flow.

Even the best AI work involves significant human skills and processes.

𝟱. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹.

Don't use video to sell - the traditional way. 

Use video to inspire, to relate, and to reflect the authentic side of yourself. Because your story is your TA's story. 
And when they're inspired by that, they'll take action in ways you haven't foreseen.

BTW - I love this film created with #Sora, the latest tool developed by #OpenAI.
It clearly shows: Good work takes time. 
And AI won't replace creatives. 
Unless it's AI to sit in the audience.

OK... so... 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 #𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗗𝗮𝘆
𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗶𝘀 my journey and 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 can 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 one 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆.

First things first: this is def not medical advice. I don't propose any cure.

Second thing: action and self-discipline beat 
a hundred self-help books any day.

A glimpse into my recent journey:
-started full-mode juicing around 1 month ago
-at times I'm doing intermittent fasting
-only drinking alcaline water
-exercise 5 - 6 days a week
-lifting weights & running
-healthy sleep 

In the last 3 weeks I’ve: 
- reduced sugar to zero
- almost no caffeine 😬 
- no added salt 
- no alcohol 
- no meat
- 0 dairy 

In the past year, I said NO to
-"too good to be true" or shady job descriptions
- clients with no meaningful purpose
- people who gossip & toxic vibes

This transformation is within reach.

But it's not complete.

Your health is more than just sports & nutrition & what you feed your mind. 

The hardest muscle for anyone to train is forgiving.

I think this is the most important tool to heal and make sure you stay healthy.
Because those toxic emotions are bubbling inside.

"Every cancer patient has bitterness & resentment in their lives" said Chris Wark, someone who beat cancer naturally. 

He says: 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗿. 

Forgiveness is key to preventing and healing cancer. 

Forgiveness is not a feeling. 

It's a choice. 

𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵. 

There are ways to practice forgiving, I'm not really the expert here 😅 .

Forgiving those who've hurt you, even forgiving yourself - over and over again.

Not for them. But for YOU.

Leverage it and practice gratitude.

Forgiveness is essential for healing because holding onto grudges 
just poisons your heart, body, spirits and mind.
