Ojalá la imagen fuera solo un chiste.

Vivimos en la era del “te enseño a ser rico grabándome en algo que no es mío”. Coches alquilados, relojes prestados, hoteles de fondo que han pagado en 3 plazos… y un discurso calcado: libertad financiera, ingresos pasivos, deja tu trabajo, todo en 90 días. Magia pura XD

El problema no es la estética, es el mensaje que hay debajo: se ha normalizado que alguien sin trayectoria real, sin años de mercado, sin skin in the game, se autoproclame “mentor financiero” porque sabe grabarse bien en vertical.

Es la economía de la pose.
La rentabilidad ya no es del capital, es del teatro.

Y lo grave no es que hagan el numerito, lo grave es que funciona.

Mucha gente confunde escenario con realidad: si sale en un cochazo, será que sabe. Si habla seguro, será verdad. Si dice “no es consejo financiero” pero acto seguido te dice dónde meter tus ahorros… ya sabes.

Mientras tanto, los principios básicos de las finanzas personales siguen siendo aburridos: constancia, tiempo, disciplina, entender el riesgo, decir muchos “no” cuando todo el mundo dice “sí”.

Pero eso no queda tan bien en un reel de 15 segundos, claro.

Cuando veas la típica foto del gurú financiero apoyado en un coche de lujo, hazte solo una pregunta muy sencilla: ¿esta persona gana dinero invirtiendo… o gana dinero convenciéndote de que invierte?

Porque un coche se alquila por horas.

Pero la factura de seguir a un falso gurú te la comes tú años.

El otro día éramos cuatro locos, café delante, hablando de LinkedIn… y la sensación era bastante unánime: aquí algo se ha roto.

LinkedIn era el sitio donde venías a leer experiencia real, cicatrices profesionales, aprendizajes, dudas, cosas que solo te cuenta alguien que ha estado ahí. Y ahora, cada vez más, parece un Instagram con traje. Textos perfectos, formatos clonados, la misma plantilla emocional de siempre… y muy poca verdad detrás. Mucha estética, poca sustancia.

La IA, claro, ha metido gasolina al fuego. Hoy cualquiera puede sacar un post “correcto” en 30 segundos. Bien escrito, estructurado, con gancho… pero vacío. Sin contexto, sin piel, sin haberlo vivido. Se ha democratizado el altavoz, sí, pero también se ha devaluado el mensaje. Hay más gente hablando que nunca… y, paradójicamente, cada vez cuesta más encontrar algo que realmente te aporte.

Y el problema no es solo tecnológico, es sociológico. Estamos en plena era de la “posturética” y la “meritocracia simulada”: gente que no ha hecho el camino, pero aprende a representar el papel. Posar de referente, de experto, de gurú. El algoritmo, por su parte, premia justo eso: cantidad, formato estándar, frase viral, historia lacrimógena de manual. No premia tanto que tengas algo incómodo, complejo o impopular que decir, aunque sea útil.

Encima LinkedIn también está en su propia crisis de identidad. Ya no sabe si es red profesional, medio de entretenimiento, altavoz político o todo a la vez. Está probando cosas para maximizar tiempo de pantalla y “engagement”, aunque eso implique llenarte el feed de ruido y de temas que hace años no habrías visto aquí ni de broma. El negocio manda, y se nota.

¿Hay salida? Creo que sí, pero no va a venir solo “del algoritmo”. Falta darle poder al usuario de verdad. Poder configurar tu feed como si fuera una buena newsletter: elegir temáticas, tipo de contenido, profundidad, incluso “niveles de hype” que quieres tolerar. Falta transparencia sobre por qué ves lo que ves. Y faltan mecanismos que premien consistentemente a quien aporta valor sostenido, no solo al que da el pelotazo de la semana.

Mientras eso no exista, la única defensa es muy simple: ser brutalmente selectivo con a quién sigues y qué compartes. No contribuir al ruido, aunque el ruido tenga más “likes”. Y, sobre todo, no convertirte tú también en un personaje de esa meritocracia de cartón piedra que estamos criticando.

Porque si LinkedIn se convierte en otro entretenimiento vacío, la culpa no será solo del algoritmo ni de la IA. Será también nuestra, por lo que decidimos publicar, comentar y amplificar cada día.
