I am an ‘Architect & Project Manager’ with more than 25 years of professional experience. After the initial years of practical field/site experience, I started my journey in the retail industry with my short sojourn with Reliance Infocomm for roll-out of Web World Outlets in Delhi & Rajasthan (India) regions. This made me move to Dubai, UAE in 2007 to explore more of the organized retail. In the past 17 years in the GCC region, I have spent majority of my time helping Retailers, Retail Brand Owners, Mall Developers and Landlords in designing, building, executing & delivering ‘Customer-Centric’ Retail stores for increased customer footfall, conversions and sustainable business growth. In this period I have worked with 100+ International & Home-Grown Retail brands for their physical stores’ expansion across the region. I have been part of opening 1200+ Retail stores, covering 3.5M Sq. Ft. leasable space. I have been fortunate enough to have dealt with Mall Owners/Landlords, Statutory Authorities, Retail Design & Delivery (RDD) Teams, contractors, suppliers, vendors, consultants, architects, manufacturers etc. across 8 different Gulf countries, to consistently deliver high quality stores, ‘in-time’ and ‘within the budgeted cost’ while also saving millions in overall capex cost. My focus & attention has always been to guide and handhold the brands to take them to next level through customer focused space designs, efficient execution planning and project management. I am an analytic, considerate, adaptable and empathetic person who has a contributing style of working for the ultimate and sustainable success & growth of the organizations and business I work for.
