I’ll be honest with you. I used to run a standard marketing agency. It was good but it wasn’t mind-blowing. Then something changed. I met a client who was really up for trying something brave. They were fed up of wasting with their marketing budget. They realised they had SPANKED THOUSANDS on “tried and tested” channels and were underwhelmed with the performance. I dreamed up something rogue that would hit SO many different touchpoints: Social (Paid and Organic), PR, Influencer and Trade. The client took half of their marketing budget (that was usually spent on big, boring stuff) and took a punt. It paid off. Massively. Me and my team delivered an original activation that: - Gained 10s of Millions of organic views - Generated hundreds of pieces of content - Used scroll-stopping UGC as paid creative (reducing CPC by 85%) - Made headlines in BIG places (like the BBC) - Created a new approach to paid and trade marketing - Created a “brand soul” that defined their future roadmap I sat down after and realised I wanted to keep doing that. So, here I am. I only work with founders and marketers who are fed up with the vanilla approach to marketing and want to try something new that DELIVERS.
