No theories—just practical, real-world, tried and tested solutions and invaluable hands-on experience. Our members consider their board to be the ONLY place they can discuss their business challenges.

TAB works with successful business owners who are tired of wasting time and money from advisors and consultants and who feel that their current practices are not elevating their businesses to the next level. We bring together CEOs, owners, and presidents of non-competing companies to meet in groups of 8 – 10 members for one morning a month in a relaxed, confidential setting to discuss issues and opportunities.

Each board has 200 to 300 years of business experience. Members receive solid insight and practical advice that they can apply immediately to the challenges they face. Owners and CEOs who join TAB get to work on their business instead of in it and the board is both an invaluable advisory resource and a peer group that demands accountability.

★Assisted in asset management planning, budgeting, production equipment design, cost estimate preparation, and project economics analysis.

★Strategized safe operating practices in addition to ensuring compliance with environmental safety and regulatory requirements. 

★Managed product development, manufacturing, and quality control for multi-category and multi-channel environments, including direct retail, e-commerce platforms.

I was accountable for developing and implementing strategies for supply chain operations and e-commerce platforms, restructuring the business to achieve financial stability, high sales volumes, and a reduction in distribution costs. 

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS 
★Expanded digital sales by 30% by implementing clear procedures and delivering strategic initiatives to improve website customer user experience.

★Successfully negotiated factory purchases that resulted in an increased gross margin (GM) percentage of 49%, moving up from 35%.

I was in charge of implementing company strategies, establishing back-office operations, launching sourcing strategies, and driving sales efforts while managing large key client relationships. 

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS 
★Developed positive business relationships with key stakeholders, especially retailers such as Bloomingdales, Harvey Nichols UK, Bergdorf Goodman, Lane Crawford, Shopbop, and Intermix.

★Realigned limited resources (expenses) more efficiently to create maximum value for stakeholders while training staff to achieve individual KPIs.

★Identified new trends by focusing on speed-to-market timeframes and introduced new footwear collections to the market.

I came across this video of penguins waddling down a hill — and it made me smile.
But it also made me think about how we build products at Floafers.

Innovation doesn’t usually come from a boardroom brainstorm or a loud “eureka” moment.

For me, it starts with quiet observation. Watching how people live, move, travel — how kids play when it rains, how families adapt to everyday moments.

That’s how Scout came to life.
Not as a “category filler,” but as a solution:

Lightweight enough for kids to move freely
Durable enough for real weather
Playful enough to feel like their favorite pair

When we launch something new, it’s never just about the product.
It’s about seeing differently. Thinking clearly. Building deliberately.

And sometimes… it starts with watching penguins.

We stay focused on the momentum we’ve built.
We keep adapting — not out of fear, but because pivots and adjustments are part of how we operate.

The beast may watch.
But we keep moving.
Eyes on the ball. Energy up. Momentum intact.
