⭐A Little Bit More about Me: I began my career as an educator, teaching high school physics. After moving to Indianapolis, I ended up in a selling role and spent 15 years as a successful sales professional before moving into a formal sales enablement role in 2014. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the most amazing people both in education, marketing, and technology. I am so grateful for this journey and excited to see what the future holds.

I started my job search in early July - that's 18 weeks of looking for my next adventure. And here's how it's going.

Out of 81 applications, 58 companies said 🚫 to me 😢

But, on the flip side...

Of those 81 applications ----> 24  turned into early interviews (29%)
And of those 24 initial interviews ----> 8 moved to mid-late stage interviews (33%)

The reality is that I've been interviewing a lot! In fact, I've had 30 separate conversations in the last 6 weeks! Whew! And I'm optimistic that I'll land exactly where I'm most needed.

And I'm so grateful for my network, you all have been so great about sending me new postings or helping me make connections. It takes a village and thank you for being part of mine.

Today I’m celebrating another trip around the sun ☀️ and this year, the reflection hits a little differently.

I’m in a season of change, navigating a job search, stepping into new possibilities, and trusting the path even when I can’t fully see it. And through it all, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude!

Gratitude for the professional experiences that have shaped me… the roles that stretched me… the challenges that refined me… and the leaders and peers who poured wisdom, encouragement, and real talk into my journey.

I'm also incredibly grateful for my husband and kids. My husband is a huge professional support to me - in the highs and the lows. And I love watching my children grow, thrive, and become the people God is shaping them to be. They keep me grounded and are a constant reminder that every season has purpose.

And most of all, gratitude for the faith that carries me. Through open doors, closed doors, and the ones I have to knock on a few extra times, God has been faithful. I can feel that this is a season of preparation, not pause.

To everyone who has been part of my story - a heartfelt 💖 thank you!

Your support, your insights, your encouragement… they’ve meant more than you know.

The trees don’t fight the change.
They shift. They release. They make space.

Remember, not every season is about doing.

Some are about becoming...
Shedding what no longer fits, rooting deeper, trusting the process.

When did we redefine what "REMOTE" means?

With the rise in return-to-office mandates, clarity in your job postings isn’t optional. It’s a matter of trust. Calling a hybrid role “remote” isn’t flexible - it’s misleading.

The job market is already hard enough and candidates deserve better. And this is not an isolated example - I've come across this multiple times in the past several weeks.

📣 Let’s stop calling things “remote” just to get clicks.
