In 2020 when the pandemic hit, I found myself closing up my 12-year journey building a successful fitness business with my wife. With dozens of employees, 5 locations & 7 figures in ARR now being forced to shutdown, I felt lost. So, I turned to LinkedIn to find a new path for my life and started building a network. Fast forward 6 months, I "broke" into tech sales as a 35-year-old SDR at a fast-moving start-up out of San Francisco in the HR/TA Tech space. Applying my entrepreneurial grit & grind approach, I quickly adapted to this new environment, moving into an AE role and full cycle selling. With a healthy run of success over the next 15 months we were acquired by a Talent CRM company in London, moving me into a more complex role selling into the global enterprise TA/HR market. I then found an opportunity to lead a team for a long-standing recruitment marketing firm, running enterprise sales for the West Coast and sales enablement for North America, which was cut short when I faced the first layoff of my life. Shortly after I found ERIN and joined their enterprise team, automating and optimizing employee referral programs for organizations globally. My path in HR/TA tech finally lead me to a giant in the space, HireVue, connecting talent to opportunity for some of the world's largest organizations on their enterprise team! Moral of the story?
