Everyone says follower count is king, but hear me out for a second. 

In the beginning, chasing those numbers can be a one-way ticket to Stressville.

Been there, done that.

Started my brand on Instagram and YouTube, and let me tell you, the number obsession almost did me in. 

When you're starting, it's ALL about creating, having fun, and finding your voice.

So, here's my advice:

✅ Set a posting goal, not a follower goal. 

✅ Aim for 100 posts, something to keep you creating and feeling comfy online. 

Withough giving you stress of followers, likes and comments.

✅ Track your progress, but sparingly. 
Once a week, maybe twice a month, peek at your analytics. 

This way, you can see growth without getting overwhelmed.

Why do I say this?

I took a few days off LinkedIn, and what happened will surprise you! 

Here's the (not-so-fun) reality:

~ Lost 50+ followers 

~ Dropped out of top search rankings 

~ Engagement dipped by 9% in the first week 

But there's a silver lining!

+ My older posts are STILL driving engagement 

+ Gained over 100 new followers in that time 

+ Leads continued to come in (phew!)
