I wanted to share something that's been on my mind. 

I put this photo up for a few reasons. 

★ First, I needed a good post for the end of the week to politely nudge you to pause and think for a moment. 

★ Second, when I was younger, I looked a lot like Keanu Reeves (in my mind lol). Unfortunately, he is taller and a little more handsome. But I believe we both share the same fighting spirit. So, close enough 🤷🏽. 

★ Third, no matter how good or bad life gets, I always try to be real, even if it's not the popular thing to do. 

★ And fourth, I really like you to take a moment and use that humble side we all possess to be thankful for what you have and what you've accomplished over the last few weeks, and what we all have to look forward to. 

Even if they are small things, they are definitely worth being thankful for.


Let me start by sharing some wins from the past few weeks:

✨ Personal Well-being: 
My daughter is healthy and happy. That’s always the number one priority.

✅ Life's Flow: 
I’m experiencing very little drama, which is a blessing. My bills are covered, and that brings a lot of peace of mind.

🚀 Business Pipeline: 
We have 5 different prospects who need either consulting on LinkedIn sales systems or CRM development. Chances are high that at least one of them will convert into a client! Also, a current client just recommended me to 3 other potential clients. That was really nice. Thanks, Ryan Seifert!

🤝 Integration Milestone: 
We've secured our first integration partner with our SaaS product, Skoop - Instant Video, with FieldBuilt CRM. The mention of the association with SKOOP video capabilities has already opened new doors for them.

📈 User Growth: 
SKOOP now has approximately 300 active users, with exciting new power-user features rolling out early next week.

Now, I'm not exactly rolling in dough. I’ve got a 16-year-old car that I just had to fix, and we live in a modest but still nice place. I’m not currently making enough to even go on dates. On top of that, my daughter really wants a mom.

And, you know what? I'm thankful for all of it.

Thanksgiving as I see it is about family, time for reflection, gratitude, and in many ways, a chance to consciously separate work from our personal lives. 

I know, I know, we often blend the two – it's practically a lifestyle for many of us in the entrepreneurial space! 

I mean, I even wear the same Adidas style clothes. But that is because it's still cool! 😎

But when you really understand why we do it, it almost always comes down to family and the drive to support others.

This year, it's just my daughter and me, and that is more than okay.

 It's a genuine blessing. 

🧒🏻 She's doing wonderfully, bills are covered, our ⚙️ software SKOOP is growing, we're forging new 🤝 partnerships, 🧾 system project proposals are being sent out, and 🙋🏻‍♂️ clients are converting right here on LinkedIn.

Ever run into a snag with your browser video or mic permissions when trying to use a new tool? I've been there! 😅  

It's a common hurdle, especially when you're diving into video capabilities. That's why I put together a quick tutorial for SKOOP, focusing on something many find tricky: getting your Chrome browser to grant microphone and camera permissions.

🤔 What's SKOOP and why do I want to use it?

Great question. SKOOP is a video sales and relationship tool. It allows you to hyperpersonalize conversations with short, candid video, text, voice notes or animated GIFs. 

And if done correctly, can easily 6X your conversation rate from a single LinkedIn message to a vetted booked meeting. 

It also has a powerful AI that helps write better LinkedIn posts by cloning you. In fact, help write this post. 

And it has a built-in CRM so you don't forget that follow-up!


Here’s the breakdown to get you up and running smoothly:

✅ Understanding Permissions
Any application that needs to use your mic or camera, like video editing tools or communication apps, will need your browser's permission. This is a standard security step.

🚀 Initial Setup
When you first open Skoop - Instant Video, you’ll typically be prompted to grant these permissions. The key here is to select "While visiting the website" or the equivalent option. This ensures SKOOP has access specifically for its intended use.


💥 Troubleshooting Steps
If you're still facing issues after the initial setup, don't worry!

*   Reinstall SKOOP: 
Sometimes a simple uninstall and reinstall can resolve permission glitches.

*   Check Chrome Privacy Settings: 
This is where you can get more granular. Navigate to Chrome's privacy settings, then go to "Privacy and security," and look for "Site settings."

*   Grant Specific Permissions: 
Within "Site settings," you can find SKOOP and then "View permissions and data stored across sites." Here, you'll have direct options to enable or disable permissions for video and sound.

It’s all about making sure your tools work seamlessly so you can focus on what matters – connecting and creating!

The fastest way to achieve any monumental goal is to find a pack or a group that's already doing what you want to achieve. 

This goes for B2B services as well as SaaS products. 

Although my main business is creating sales and relationship systems for B2Bs and service based professionals (coaches, consultants, sales etc...), when I founded Skoop - Instant Video, trying to scale that solo feels like hand-to-hand combat. 

Although our SaaS is a tool for our main consulting business - it is in fact an entirely different business modle in itself.  As selling low cost software tools you need volume. 

😅 My SaaS product, SKOOP, and it is still in the early days. The one-on-one onboarding calls is absolutely crushing me (although I still do that as it can lead to partnerships). But it is just meeting after meeting (for now), diving into the nitty-gritty details.

At $47 a month, some people would question the cost. But I'd always flip it back to them: "How much is one client worth to you?" Especially when our tool can boost conversion rates about six times better. That's the kind of ROI that makes even a small monthly fee disappear. 💥

The fastest way I've discovered to hit those monumental goals? 

Again, find a pack, a group that's already doing what you want to achieve. 

This was a massive lesson for me. By connecting with other small yet growing SaaS products for integration (I had what they were missing mentality) and resellers partners those right people understood out journey. 

Working in this way allows us to see the direct path forward for SKOOP. It wasn't about reinventing the wheel, but about learning from those who had already mastered the road. 🚀

This is why I'm so passionate about sharing actionable strategies and insights. We're always looking for ways to maximize conversion and streamline growth. It's about the  smarter, not just harder working route (when possible).


Here’s what I’ve learned from seeking out those who’ve walked the path before:

✅ Observe their strategies:
 - What channels are they using?

What roadblocks did they face, and how did they overcome them?

Is increasing your LinkedIn post visibility with the new LinkedIn Boost feature worth it or a waste of time and money?

Could it be the magic wand for visibility we've all been hoping for, especially those of us in the B2B and service-based markets?

I've been digging into this, and honestly, my experience has been… interesting. 🤔 As someone who relies on genuine connection and value-driven content, I’ve always focused on building authentic relationships and creating systems that truly support our Ideal Client Profiles (ICPs). 

That means providing a "3-tier Value Structure©️"and multi-channel approach.

Before this Boost feature was even a whisper, my posts were consistently getting anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 views. I even had one soare past 70,000 views, and I figured, hey, with my follower count (around 32,000), that makes sense (and I earned those followers over years of work!). 

But then, right around the time the Boost option appeared, my reach suddenly tanked to about 100 views per post. Coincidence? Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but I'm starting to think it's not. 🤷🏻

It’s possible that my direct approach or perhaps some past interactions with tech support have put me in a position where LinkedIn’s algorithm just doesn't favor me as much anymore. 

You know, one time my account was temporarily shut down just for logging in at a Starbucks! Took a week to get it back. Another time, my Top Voice badges mysteriously disappeared after four days, and when I inquired, I was blocked from future participation. It feels like playing nice doesn't always guarantee the right kind of attention.


So, when my reach dropped, I doubled down on what I know works: 

★ Consistent engagement and real content. I dedicate 30-45 minutes daily to genuinely engaging with others' posts and having meaningful conversations. 

★ Also focus on sharing content that's raw, showing the human side, the solutions, and yes, even the struggles. This brought my views up from the 100 mark, but not to the level I was accustomed to.

Then I tried the Boost feature a few times, spending a small amount for a couple of days each. Yes, it did increase the view count, pushing some posts closer to 2,000 views each. 

But here's the catch: I saw virtually NO likes and NO comments. It felt like I was paying for numbers without any real engagement, which ultimately means fewer genuine connections. 💥

While it's still growing with under 600 subscribers (always open to your support and questions there! 🚀), it's where I house many of my in-depth LinkedIn conversations. 

I'm passionate about creating systems around LinkedIn, building sales funnels, and nurturing genuine relationships – and this channel is a great resource for that.


2️⃣ Then there's @SkoopApp (link in the comments). 

If you're not familiar, SKOOP is a SaaS product we developed specifically with LinkedIn in mind. Just wrapped up a little Thanksgiving with my partner in crime, Alyeska (my daughter, and we don't do any crimes). 

We kept it simple – some ham, chicken, mac and cheese, and fresh green beans with a great sauce. 

It got me thinking about how we approach building better relationships. And that can apply to business, especially in the B2B and service sectors. 🚀

Wouldn't it be great to stop the constant "selling" environment, and start creating a "buyers environment"? 

It’s where people naturally gravitate towards those they know, like, and trust. 

Building that connection is key. When people feel comfortable and confident, they're more inclined to engage. ✅


🤷🏻 So, how do we cultivate that trust and positive environment?

★ 1.  Solve their problems or alleviate their pain points:
This is the foundation. Show them you understand their challenges and have the solutions. That is real value. And you can even break the types into a 3-Tier Value Structure©️.

★ 2.  Let them get to know you on a more personal level:
Sharing a glimpse into your world, like our simple Thanksgiving, builds rapport. It humanizes the professional.

★ 3.  Offer a fresh perspective:
This can be anything from a unique way to look at a solution to simply making them smile. It’s about adding value and a positive experience. ✨


This approach shifts the focus from pushing a sale to creating an opportunity for genuine connection and value exchange. When we support and motivate each other, the opportunities to build those buyer environments naturally increase.

The 90-Day LinkedIn Client Acquistion Program Guide

Why we built a business software tool for LinkedIn first.

As a Linkedin business consultant, I simply saw a gap in the market on this platform specfically. On LinkedIn there are 2 main areas for doing busienss for consultants and B2Bs. 

That is the DMs (LinkedIn Direct Messages) and the content (ie. posts).

The DMs, for the most part stopped converting. 

So at one time, they converted really well, and then everyone used automation, like you said, automation or something, and they were just selling, selling, selling, and it became very saturated. 

And so there was an opportunity to personalize (or even better hyper-personalize). 💪🏼

We perviously created a server system that sent videos. It was very similar to the LinkedIn phone app and it sent out baked video. Baked video is like one video for everything through automation, and it worked a lot better. 

Then we looked at it for personalization and said, you know what, it would be great to have a tool right on top of your browser. That I can do a video, click a button, boom, send it, and also be great to store and have instant access to the predetermined most common message replies (that way we can start with the subject and make changes thus saving time and adding clarity).

💡 Personalization is the key to build relationships in today's saturated market. 

Finding ways to stand out and connect on a more human level can make all the difference.
