If you're just starting out with growing your email list, here's what you need to do:


1. Come up with a lead magnet that people would actually want to trade their emails for. 

(Quizzes and free webinar/tutorials work excellent.)


2. Pick an email tool like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or ActiveCampaign - they're pretty popular.


3. Make a dedicated landing page for your lead magnet a.k.a your opt-in page. 


4. Promote your lead magnet wherever you hang out online. 


5. Stick the sign-up pop up forms in different spots on your website to catch more eyes.


6. Once you start getting subscribers, segment them based on their interest or behaviour.


7. Don't ghost. Keep the conversation going by sending out interesting updates and resources regularly.


8. Track key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to gauge the effectiveness of your email campaigns.


9. Use what you find out to tweak and improve your approach over time.
