Adam is the CEO and Co-Founder of METADATAWORKS, a company that helps organisations manage and utilise data more efficiently. He has over 10 years of experience in data architecture, leading and delivering national and international data projects for various sectors, such as healthcare, climate change, and statistics. He has a BSc in Natural Sciences from Durham University and was awarded IBM Top Talent in 2010 for his outstanding performance as a technology consultant. He is passionate about making data FAIRer (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and empowering organisations to understand and leverage their data assets. He is also a key contributor to the innovative 100,000 Genome Project, which aims to transform genomic medicine in the UK. He is an expert in databases, XML, and web services, and has a keen interest in data topics, such as data governance, data quality, and data literacy. When he is not busy building data solutions, he enjoys surfing in the north sea and sharing his insights and knowledge on data topics.
