Read this with an open mind—no squirming, no squinting. Just pay attention 🤔 Is it just me, or is B2B content marketing a bit too boring? We take the "business" in B2B too literally. The obsession with "high quality" and "thought leadership" is too much to bear (I cringe every time I hear it). 🤔 What's the point of quality if your audience doesn't care? And how do we measure quality content without conversions? We as marketers drown ourselves in keyword research, content briefs, SEO strategies, and top-notch writers, only to be asked by stakeholders, "Okay, so where's the ROI?" So, what quality? I think there's a disconnect between content marketers and customers. We focus on churning out quality pieces; they care about something else. Courtney Trudeau's line in eMarketer's webinar on "Driving Personalization at Scale" struck a chord with me recently. "There's a pretty big gap between perception and reality. These companies are thinking, 'We got this. We are personalizing. It's all under control.' But the data says they don't - customers don't think the same way." Many content marketers, myself included (guilty as charged) heavily prioritize SEO and EEAT. Some even think an SEO strategy can replace an entire content marketing strategy, which is straight-up bullocks to me. 💭 Instead of obsessing over SEO, why not create content that truly matters to your audience on platforms they call home? Because if they don't care, we might as well pack up. It took me a while, but the key to bridging this gap is adopting a holistic approach to content marketing. ... and it starts with understanding your audience to their core. Once you know your audience, marketing to them becomes a breeze. You might even question the need for a blog (I know I'm a content writer, but I live for the truth). 😎 I recently helped CreditCliq - a Fintech SaaS brand - gain over 1000 signups in less than a week. How did I do it? By creating content that genuinely resonates with the audience on a platform they truly care about. Spoiler alert: No SEO, no keyword research, no BOFU content—just social media content, because that's what the audience wants. Okay, I guess I must stop now before I get too passionate. If you want to dive into these shenanigans, my DMs are open. And if you're seeking a writer who cares more about solving your audience's pain points than just churning out "quality" content, I'm your gal. PS: I talk about remote working, marketing, and my journey as a content creator and influencer. In case you're curious. Okay, bye for now! 👋

For the hundredth time this year 😂😩, we’re hiring again at Remote WorkHER. And I know that sounds crazy, but here’s the thing—we truly need the right people on our team. Looking back, we realized that we made a mistake by focusing too much on skill and work experience over the person behind the resume. We were hiring for what people could do, not for who they were. And honestly, that didn’t work. This time around, we want to change that! We are hiring people that are passionate about what Remote Workher stands for - empowering WOMEN. ✅ I want to bring in people who get what we’re building here. ✅ I want team members who are deeply aligned with the mission, who understand the vision, and who genuinely care about the business. ✅ I want self-starters who are excited to take ownership and grow with us. At this point, it’s all about fit. The right energy, the right drive, the right values. It doesn’t matter if you have 20 years of experience. If you don’t align with our culture and mission, we won’t be able to move forward. So we are looking for these people: ✅ Head of People & Ops We need someone to build and manage our team, make sure we are scaling efficiently, and develop systems that make working at Remote WorkHER smooth and effective. You should be a natural leader, great at people management, and love creating an environment where everyone thrives. ✅ Content & Social Media Manager (you'd be working directly with me ❤️) If you’re passionate about creating meaningful content and storytelling, we want you! You’ll manage our social media presence, create engaging content, and help us reach even more remote workers and freelancers who align with our mission. Bonus: You also need to be great at people management, cause you'd be managing some content interns. ✅ Community Manager Our community (The Inner Circle) is everything, and we need someone who can nurture it, engage with members, and create active space where people feel heard and valued. If this is you, please send us an email at recruitment@remoteworkher.com and tell us why you want to work at Remote WorkHER. We’re not just looking for employees, we’re looking for partners who are ready to build, grow, and make a real impact. Let's do this ❤️
