On my first pitch meeting, the room was stacked with the big-players. I was the newcomer — a woman-founder, offering search & placement services in a crowded market.

What kept me awake wasn’t fear of failure — it was the question: Could I survive and thrive by doing things differently?”

My Journey as a Woman Leader in a Search Firm:-

Starting a search firm in a high-competition service market took more than drive – it demanded strategy, grit and a clear differentiator. 

Landing my first client backed then 2016 gave me the boost i could have asked for , when everyone else was focused on tech I started Non Tech as niche. Was i loosing work ,Yes ...but i was dam confident .

Here’s how I built forward:

🚀 Credibility as currency
I showed up not just with candidate lists but with insights: pay for.

🔍 Niche as a moat
 Instead of trying to be everywhere, I chose manufacturing, plant HR and supply-chain talent. Over time we became known for that. Clients stopped asking “Who can fill this role?” and started asking “Who should fill this role?” That shift moved us from vendor to partner.

I am inspired for life , by looking at great Women founder's around me. 

It’s messy. It’s demanding. But it’s fun, especially when you realise you’re not just surviving — you’re shaping the game.
