It all began with a simple blog created on Blogger in 2010, inspired by Amitabh Bachchan's blog. I was just 13 at that time. The concept of having my own space on the web, where I could talk about anything, intrigued me, and since then, I've never looked back. The idea of building an audience, generating traffic and leads from search engines, and seeing my byline on big publications gives me a major adrenaline rush. Here are some highlights of what I have done till now- ↳Built a LinkedIn follower base of over 42k+ people. ↳Built a newsletter with over 20k+ subscribers—it's for content writers and marketers. ↳Published on websites like Entrepreneur, Buffer, Convert, & GoDaddy. ↳Worked with 70+ clients around the world, mostly from India, the US, & the UK. ↳Recognized as one of the "50 Most Influential Content Marketing Professionals" 2x. ↳Managed a team of 7 working on various marketing channels. ↳Ran a freelance business earning six figures monthly (INR) and built a team of 4 freelancers. (Super proud of this) And still, it feels like I am just getting started. Here are a few things that I can help you with- ↳ Develop content strategies to drive traffic and convert visitors into customers. ↳ Craft content that speaks directly to your audience, addressing their queries in a conversational manner, devoid of jargon and textbook language. ↳ Conduct insightful interviews with subject matter experts to create unique and valuable content. Analyze your website and blog to identify areas for improvement. ↳ Build a targeted social media following, positioning your brand as an authority in your niche. ↳ Implement automated workflows to enhance your content marketing efforts and scale results. Here's a little bit about my previous roles. ➸ Batch Service: Worked as a content specialist, assisting in the creation of content for four SaaS platforms, primarily focusing on blogs. ➸ Design Everest: Served as the Content Development Manager, overseeing content development for the blog. Managed a team of approximately 10 freelancers, editing, and publishing 25+ articles every month. ➸ SmartLead: Functioned as the Content Marketing Lead, leading a team of five in-house professionals. My responsibilities included managing the blog, overseeing writers, ensuring content quality, and handling social media and email marketing. ➸ Phyllo: As the Content Marketing Manager at Phyllo, I manage all content-related activities, including managing the blog, newsletter, & marketing assets, and coordinating with freelancers. Want to talk about content? Let's connect!

This week, I built my first AI agent — a chatbot that lives on my portfolio website and answers questions from potential clients. No, I’m not a developer. I didn’t write a single line of code. I just asked ChatGPT: “Give me the easiest ways to build my first AI agent.” And I followed the trail. - I tried 3 tools. - Failed twice. - Succeeded once. Now there’s a smart little assistant on my site, doing my job while I sleep 😄 This is exactly the kind of stuff I’m documenting in my new newsletter: The Open Diary of an AI Marketer — Real experiments — Honest lessons — No fluff Edition #1 is live → Link in the comments

Content marketing folks—this is serious. We’ve officially entered a time where AI isn’t optional. It’s no longer a “cool hack” or “extra help”—it’s becoming foundational to how marketing works. Every week, I speak to marketers—freelancers, CMOs, agency owners—and they’re all going through the same shift. The traditional digital marketing playbook is dying. And something new is taking its place. We’re not just using AI tools anymore. We’re onboarding AI agents. - One to create content briefs. - One to analyze performance across GA4, GSC, and Ahrefs. - Another to repurpose content into carousels, emails, and blogs. - Even one to monitor trends and suggest campaign ideas. Soon, we might see more AI agents than professionals in content teams. And the truth is: The teams that adapt will survive. The ones that don’t… will get replaced by the ones who did. This isn’t a hype post. It’s a wake-up call. How are you tackling this shift in your marketing work? Would love to hear what tools, systems, or approaches you’re experimenting with.

I built an AI assistant that knows my product better than I do. Not to write blogs. Not to generate generic copy. But to help me think—faster and sharper—when I create product-led content. In the latest edition of The Open Diary of an AI Marketer, I’m sharing how I trained a custom GPT on our sales decks, product docs, and internal positioning to build a Product-Led Content Assistant. Now, instead of chasing info across Notion and Slack, I ask my GPT things like: - “What objections come up during sales calls?” - “How are we better than [Competitor]?” - “What’s the cleanest way to explain this feature?” It gives me answers instantly—aligned with our messaging, tone, and product truth. I also created a Notion checklist to help other marketers build their own assistant. If you’re a content marketer, PMM, or founder tired of playing knowledge scavenger hunt, this one’s for you. Read the edition + grab the free checklist. Link in the first comment.

Everyone glamorized MNCs. But the real learning for me happened in the chaos, speed, and scrappiness of startups. Working at startups like Smartlead and Phyllo has been one of the most transformative phases of my career. While I stayed rooted in my core strengths — writing, research, and competitor analysis — the startup journey pushed me far beyond my comfort zone. Some of the additional skills and experiences I picked up: ↳ Creating product-focused content around positioning, branding, and messaging ↳ Building content strategies and distribution strategies to drive organic and product-led growth ↳ Building and managing content teams from scratch ↳ Managing content calendars, coordinating with SEO agencies, and ensuring everything tied back to bigger business goals ↳ Using tools like Webflow, Figma, Canva, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, and HubSpot ↳ Measuring everything and reporting to the stakeholders ↳ Running LinkedIn marketing campaigns, including founder-led LinkedIn marketing initiatives ↳ Collaborating directly with product, growth, and sales teams to create content that actually moved the needle ↳ Building customer-centric narratives based on user journeys, pain points, and use cases ↳ Analyzing data, identifying what’s working (and what’s not), optimizing strategies, and picking up countless more skills across marketing, product, and analytics along the way And the list goes on... Startups teach you two things very quickly: →How to wear multiple hats without hesitation →How to learn faster and adapt smarter than you think you can I'm grateful for the opportunity to build, experiment, fail fast, and grow consistently. I wouldn’t trade this learning journey for anything. If you're considering working at a startup, I can tell you from experience: You’ll grow in ways you never expected. What do you prefer?
