- Spearheading all global PR, internal and external communications, social media and marketing activity on sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ethical business practices.

During this time I managed and delivered PR, copywriting and social media projects for various high-profile clients.

This included developing PR and social media strategies, writing press releases, managing media relations, designing creative digital content and providing photography and video production services.

Key achievements include:

- Enabling a start-up to successfully launch a new smartphone app in the UK, Europe and US, achieving the highest media coverage ever for the company, securing recommendation as a Notable App in the Play Store and building reach and coverage in the previously untapped US market 

- Growing social communities for brands including Hugo Boss, Jones Bootmaker and HBO UK, with the Hugo Boss Facebook and Twitter feeds growing by 20% every two weeks for three months 

- Managing campaigns for a male grooming retailer, including identifying and working with social media influencers to promote the brand, developing a social media community of over 100 followers from scratch within just one week and securing a sponsorship deal at a high-profile awards event within a year

- Securing contracts with leading brands including John Lewis, Vodafone, Bond and Knight and Rosetta Stone, as well as charities such as Check One Two and Decembeard.

In this role, I was tasked with developing and managing strategic communication and media relations across all European markets.  This involved liaising with key media in each marketing to develop innovative news and features.

As Internal Communications Partner to a global commercial group of 1,500 employees, I collaborated with key senior stakeholders to disseminate messages across multiple platforms. 

I was also responsible for developing PR and social media strategies for each market, including controlling a £120,000 marcoms budget and a £250,000 PR budget. 

Organising and hosting press events was a key part of my remit, and this involved briefing spokespeople and writing press releases, trade publication copy and internal communications. 

I additionally created crisis management procedures. 

Key achievements include:

- Winning three Employee Achievement Awards for demonstrating exceptional professionalism, positioning the company values first and contributing to the overall success of the business

- Preparing high-quality external content to showcase white papers and research, including personally writing multiple thought leadership pieces for trade publications 

- Project managing the branding of an internal sales initiative which enabled better communication among the sales team and improved awareness and sales within the first week 

- Leading the re-branding of the global employee recognition scheme, positioning it as a more prestigious and credible award, linking it to wider organisational objectives and achieving a 50% increase in uptake 

- Acting as Project Communications Lead for multiple internal projects, achieving completion on time and to a high quality, within budgets of £20,000 to £100,000 

- Maximising market exposure for product launches, announcements, acquisitions and crisis responses
