My dad replaced me with AI.

Usually, he’d come to me saying, “Iss text ko Hindi mei translate kardo, dadu ko bhejna hai.”

Yesterday he said, “I figured it out.” Apparently, my brother taught him how to use GPT.

 Just like that, I lost my longest non-paying customer. Hardest replacement of my career.

I tried explaining the importance of “human touch.” He does not care.

But I know he’ll come back because dadu doesn’t like vague messages. He wants clarity and context with purpose. Quality > quantity.

And that’s the funny thing about AI. It can replace the task but not the thought behind it.

We've sent over 2000+ hyper-personalised emails over the past 6 months across multiple ICPs. If there’s one thing I’ve nailed, it’s cold emailing.

Yes, we’re a LinkedIn personal branding agency. But outbound teaches you things, and now I can say I’ve cracked parts of cold email that actually move conversations.

Here are some insights that will help if you cold email prospects (which you probably should):

1. Talk to them if they were in front of you. Fangirl if you want. Be direct if that’s your style. Just don’t fake enthusiasm; people can sense that instantly.

2. Speak to what they care about. If you’re selling video marketing, understand their real goal. Visibility or sales conversions require completely different languages.

3. Send emails when they open their inboxes. Early morning or lunch hours are the best, but track your open rates and optimize based on your own data.

4. Follow a structure. Start with what you know about them. Don’t assume they have a problem; instead, suggest a gap. The tone you choose changes how the message lands.

5. Offer something upfront. A visual breakdown, a personalized suggestion, anything that shows effort lowers resistance and earns attention.

6. Close with the smallest ask possible. If they’re highly qualified, suggest a call. Otherwise, ask for a reply or feedback. Busy people appreciate low-friction next steps.
