For a successful video, the positioning must be clear.

Each video must be useful and provide a targeted persona with a dream outcome, then steps on how to achieve this for themselves.

Our users want the dream outcome of growing an audience. 

We can position ourselves with authority as we have helped thousands of people do this already.

Also, the video needs to be valuable and entertaining = Valuetainment.

2. 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆

We don't just want to reach people who are interested in becoming creators, as this is a small attention market.

It's important to position videos in a way that resonates with a larger audience.

There will be people who want to make money online but who aren't yet aware that they can do this by growing a following.

We can hook them in with the title and then sell them on the idea when they are watching.

The main body of the video is a clear step-by-step guide with as much free value as we can think of.

This builds trust and authority.

If you're stuck for ideas, reverse engineer content that is already working in your industry and emulate it with your spin.

Find the best ones with a quick YT search.

3. 𝗛𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 (𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲, 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗹, 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘀)

The title must be outcome-focused, capture attention and give a valuable result.

The best titles are short (less than 10 words)

e.g "𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝟬 𝙩𝙤 𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙣 X (𝙁𝘼𝙎𝙏)"

Note we always focus on the HOW.

Teach your audience.

We are in the age of Education-based content.

The hook and the thumbnail are SUPER IMPORTANT.

If your content is amazing but no one sees it, it's bad content.

The thumbnail gives our ideal client their dream outcome displayed clearly in the picture.

Also, note every video starts with a bang. 

Straight to the point, no long intro.

Grabbing attention and keeping it is the aim here.

4. 𝗖𝗧𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

If done wrong this can ruin the goodwill created in the video.

It must be subtle but lead people as to what you want them to do next.

For example on the 10k video:

"If you want to learn more about how Hypefury can help you get there quicker hit the link in the description below."

Simple.

If you only post company updates you miss out on a huge opportunity to move the sales process forward.

Personal posts are so much more impactful.

You just have to have a little courage and share a steady stream of what you know.

- problems you’ve solved
- meetings that went well
- events you’ve attended

It doesn’t need to be some technical design masterpiece that aligns with the company’s goals. 

It’s about you and your goals.

A bigger personal profile means more job opportunities, more leads, and it shortens the sales cycle.

There’s a reason why big companies are hiring creators instead of leaving it to a marketing intern.

Something to think about. 🤔

Friendly reminder to drop the jargon in your posts:

If you struggle to explain what you do or who it is you help, then you’ve got no chance of snaring new clients.

Your company doesn’t “help synergise connectivity for optimised system adherence protocols.”

It “makes sure your factory never stops running.”

If you only ever use company gobbledygook or talk about yourself, then they’ll scroll past or, at worst, mute you.

Hook them in with simple benefits.

Explain the outcomes your product/service provides.

Pique their curiosity with a bold claim.

Then back that claim up with details later on in the sales process.

Be clear, not clever.
