Training is provided at the place of work, with vocational coaches coming to your business every month to support learners and set further work to complete the course. We deliver training on a wide range of subjects, including Business Administration, Sales, Customer Services, Contact Centre Operation, Warehouse Operation, Performing Manufacturing Operations, Team Leading, Management and Leadership (levels 3, 4, and 5) to name just a few.

As Sales & Account Manager, Phil managed and developed Acando's largest UK account at AstraZeneca. This included recruiting global project managers, programme directors and IT specialists with existing or transferable skills.

With such a global reach, excellent Marcom (marketing & communication) skills were important and the creation of innovative mobile marketing campaigns to capture potential candidates' attention.

Acando offers a consultancy that in partnership with its clients identifies and implements business improvements through information enabled by technology, providing a balance of high business value, short project times and low total cost.
If Acando did not have a suitable candidate to match the client's needs, then Phil would have to recruit and headhunt the correct person for both the client's immediate requirements and Acando’s future resources pool.

Phil increased the revenue within AstraZeneca’s UK account by approx £500k. This was achieved through regular contact with the client, understanding their needs and requirements and constantly proving to be better than his competitors and providing an efficient, high-quality service with the best skill sets available in the field to suit the client's needs not just first time, but every time.

He was also part of the Global Strategy Team and took part in weekly conference calls and visits to Europe to meet with his international counterparts and assist strengthen Acando's market share around the world.

Working for a company with such accreditation's as the Microsoft Presidents Club instilled the highest level of quality into every aspect of his work and direct exposure to software solutions such as Documentum and businesses such as EMC² only added to the value of his knowledge.

As part of the management team, Phil moved Cellnet Solutions from a small partnership to one of O2's top UK mobile contract providers. He sourced and implemented staff and client incentive schemes, introduced mapping & territory management strategies, created a simple and easy to use electronic CV filing database, designed & marketed regular e-shots, mobile marketing and guided the division into a streamlined cost-effective working ethos.
