Treasury Analyst for the Fortress Liquid Markets group, a global hedge fund, with over $7B of assets under management.

• Managed and invested over $3B in free cash funds on a daily basis with the goal of minimizing risk and and driving returns to the hedge fund.

• Performed reconciliations for 10 banks/counter-parties which included over 10,000 trade positions. These actions not only ensured trade accuracy, but also reduced risk to the fund. Moreover, this process allowed counter-party risk to be analyzed and mitigated thoroughly.

• Designed and maintained a PowerPoint presentation used to educate potential investors on the operations, trade activity, and free cash investments of the firm. Presentation was also used internally for key players in the firm to gather information on a quarterly basis.

• Provided detailed reporting to investors and senior management showing a breakdown of the $7B+ of assets across the firm. This information is created on a monthly basis and is used in some of the key decision making for the fund. The reports were created using macros/VBA in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Bloomberg.

Analyst - Liquid Markets

Hess Corporation

Treasury Analyst and Banking Specialist for the Exploration, Production, Marketing, and Refining businesses.

• Executed the maintenance of over 350 bank accounts that served as some of the key business accounts across the company. This operation was a part of an ongoing process that included 40 different banks across 30 countries and 6 continents.

• Performed over 500 funding and payment transactions per week to ensure the flow of business activity. Funding was performed over several systems including SAP, SunGard, and JP Morgan Access to maintain accountability and accuracy.

• Completed annual Sarbanes-Oxley audit with Ernst and Young for both the company payment process and the bank account maintenance process. Annual audit ensured compliance across the division.

Treasury Analyst

Electric Specialist for an emerging power and gas division under the Hess Corporation umbrella.

• Parsed 1000+ lines of data in Excel to identify trends and movements in the electricity market. Predictive models were created based on this data and subsequently used to improve the pricing model across the business.

• Priced over 10,000 contracts for customers across the northeast and provided this information and subject expertise to the Hess sales team. This expertise in the markets led to a contract signing rate over 10% and a contract renewal rate over 60%.

• Created macros using VBA in Excel to gather large amounts of data to create a customers energy usage profile. These models were used to improve accuracy and increased efficiency by over 30%.
