Starting my career in the trenches, my foundation in civil engineering was built on pipes, pumps and concrete. My engineering roles covered over $2B of water infrastructure in Australia and Vietnam. I have always been entrepreneurial, focusing on value engineering, time and cost savings, and to provide more efficient project outcomes. Moving into project management and directorship, my focus moved into property development, including the planning, design and delivery of over 5000 lots, and 12,000 apartments. My experience stems from a civil engineering and commercial background having strategic input into due diligence, servicing strategy, procurement and all parts of the project life-cycle to completion. I use value engineering, innovative ideas, design thinking and my experience in infrastructure and masterplanning to provide best for client and project outcomes. I am a chartered civil and structural engineer who can assess, design, verify, and independently verify minor to complex Sydney Water assets. I strive to influence others through collaboration, creating vision, trust and fostering teamwork. All of my experience, has led me to this moment, where I want to give back, be the mentor figure(s) that I was so lucky to have, and pass on my learnings. The age of the technical engineer is gone, engineers are required to be so much more now, leaders that can influence how we create the future.
