I'll be in San Francisco next week hosting an in-person meetup featuring a line-up that includes Laurie Voss from LlamaIndex and Jay Rodge from NVIDIA.

Laurie will explain why RAG is insufficient: to get the best possible results, you have to take an agentic approach. Laurie will explain why and show you how to do it in LlamaIndex.

Jay will show us how to supercharge multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines by combining NVIDIA’s GPU-accelerated tools with powerful open-source technologies.

And some schmuck named Harpreet will show you the potential of vector search beyond RAG for large language models by exploring 5 handy ways to use embeddings for Visual AI.

Whether you're new to Data-Centric Visual AI or already know your way around FiftyOne, I guarantee you'll learn something new and valuable during tomorrow's workshop.

We'll start with a dataset for object detection and use FiftyOne to perform exploratory data analysis. Then, I'll show you how embeddings can help you understand your data better and share some tips and tricks for curating a Visual AI dataset.

The hackathon offers three tracks catering to different skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert.

-  Participants can expect tech talks on Computer Vision and Data-Centric AI, hands-on workshops, engaging challenges, and networking opportunities.

Huge fan of Andrew and DSI. I don't cosign many courses, but when I do it's Andrew's course.

In August I made more money than in any other month, ever.

But unlike other course creators, I won't spend my time talking about how much I make, or how I plan to make EVEN MORE money from students.

That would show you that revenue was my main priority. My business works the other way around.

Student results are the only metric I truly care about.  If students are landing roles & getting promotions, everything else falls into place - including earnings.

All this record means is that I'm even busier welcoming new students, ensuring they get off to a confident start, and working to make the program even better.

With AWS now released, I will be updating the SQL tutorials, and completely re-recording & improving the section on the hiring process.

Sections on Excel & MLOps are on the to-do list following that.
