👆 If you noticed, there’s no mention of what MVF is bc I just made this up. I am defining it as 𝗠𝗬 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗜𝗧. It’s not some generic try on of someone else’s body based on general categories such as Large, Small, Tall, Short. No, it’s personalized because it’s your actual body! This is what makes total sense and what companies, like BODS - founded by Christine Marzano, is doing (I encourage you to check out my deep dive into this trailblazing co. from a 3 months ago right here 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gPd5yqif)

 👆IMO, MVF is what will 💯% change how we shop - in the most personal way. Because it should be personal and the tech has finally caught up.  

TL, DR:
• What has shifted - that Google so keenly is aware of - is how scrolling is wholly woven into human conditioning now due to constant "scrolling" on tech devices  - esp the Gen Z and Gen Alpha gen cohorts. (Personal note, my own Gen Alpha daughter would try to "swipe" our TV when she was a toddler to change the show. Mirroring me, her mom) 
• It's literally the mechanism we must use to change what we are doing on our devices. "Want to switch from reading the The New York Times to playing Roblox? SWIPE out of one screen, swipe to find the app, etc. 
• Future note: Gen Z (and A) are truly designed now to swipe. For future gens,  (Gen Z's kids are the G♥e♥n♥ ♥B♥e♥t♥a generation), they will know nothing else.

Personally, I 🤍 this. People are craving social connection - not silo’d & 1-sided experiences. They want so much more “relating”. 

✅ We live in a tech-forward world now. 
✅ People communicate through tech-driven devices.  
✅ Human nature and connection can still thrive this way. 

My hope is that apps like nospace & Perfectly Imperfect / PI.FYI keep growing and enabling people to connect.

Next-Gen Gaming: AI Souls, Real-time Culture, Personalized Avatars

Today was a lot of fun 🤩 #BringYourKidToWork 

👧🏻 We had a morning meeting to review the day for Epic Playdate 
👧🏻 She sat in on the monthly consultant’s call with the old girls club members
👧🏻 She sat in for a bit to my awesome call & catch up with the lovely Lian Pham (btw Sophia is obsessed with your “Super Super Happy” Roblox face 💛)
👧🏻 Came with me to Bottega Exchange / our co-working space 
👧🏻 While there, she put together her own business plan (with help from mom) for her accessories ecomm idea for custom bead bracelets. We also did a naming workshop! 
👧🏻 While I jammed on a deadline for brand assets for our client, GiftLocal, she took a Roblox break (Currently deep into #ClipIt & Find the Toasties”)
👧🏻 We then switched gears at 430pm to head to her gymnastics class 
👧🏻 Talked about our day together over dinner while also singing songs from TTPD 

I’m so glad we did this - my 1st time although she’s 10. We live so much of our lives online, sharing a work day like this was really impactful for her….and, of course, for me.

📱 She sent me this text via her iCloud acct today. I am going to print & frame it. Also - as she moves more and more into tweendom, I know the 🆒 sentiment will go away. I’ll take it now 😉

🚦 What's the Signal?
• Roblox could easily embed a program for gamers to play and then share or stream through the platform - very Twitch-esque
• Game devs can create an experience to reward loyalty for sharing your "How-To" vids.

With all 👀 on self-expression and digital fashion experiences, I was curious about the rise of NAVER Z (ZEPETO) - and, TBH, was a bit 😲.  Why?

After watching the fun intro video (see my screenshare below), I was super surprised to see the UGC options. Several immediate "trending recommendations" are, IMO, too mature for young Gen Alpha players. 
- Very cropped shirts and shorts (you can actually see partial body parts)
- A lot less coverage of body parts
- A bit too provocative for that audience

While there is place for everyone's self-expression, to me as a brand strategist & creative AND as a mom to a Gen Alpha daughter, safety & mindfulness is key. (This is one of the top reasons I am all in on Roblox)

In all transparency, I have not played games inside Zepeto yet. Have you had a chance to play yet? What do you think of the fashion options?
