Who am I: My journey spans across 17 years of working with startups. From being Fiverr's first design hire, to mentoring at Google Launchpad (and being trained by them on their methods), co-founding my own startup - Tapdog, later to be acquired by Similarweb where I became Design Director, and learning from design leaders at top tech firms such as Airbnb, Facebook, Google, Apple, Etsy, Intercom, and more. 

I’ve spent the last 9 years distilling this experience into methodologies that empower startups and proving them out in the open market.

I just got a $499 surprise... 

It happened two weeks ago. 

My ŌURA ring stopped working. It's frustrating when something you wear 24/7 stops working. I felt I probably couldn't do much about it.

I carried the feeling of helplessness with me a few days, and already prepared to hear from support that there isn't much to do about it. After all - that's how usually customer support in companies I know handle these situations. 

Most companies make you jump through hoops of bureaucracy and hell before you hit a dead end.

One morning, in a spare moment I had, I went into the Oura app, and hit the "help" item in the left navigation sidebar. 

In a split second - an AI assistant named Finn popped up and prompted me to explain in free text what happened. 

"Oh geez, another one of those useless AI agents" I said to myself.

I was already there, so I just wrote "my ring stopped working", with zero trust that something would come out of it.
But what happened next was nothing short of spectacular...

Finn wrote back "Ok. Let me run a few checks on my end" and a loading circle appeared.

A second later another message from Finn! Something along the lines of:
"OK sagi, seems like your ring has a technical problem, sorry for your inconvenience, we'll send you a replacement right away! 
Expect an email that will let you know when it's shipped".
And then... that's it.

I was standing there like "What just happened?" 

The same day an email from Oura support: Replacement ring on its way!

The email from UPS: A package is on its way.

Less than a week later, a knock on the door.
A box. From Oura!

A new Oura Ring!

They simply sent me a new ring.

No freaking questions.
No requests.
No hassle.
No filling out a thousand forms.

Wow, what a feeling. Hard to describe.

Writing a book is the most traditional thing I’ve ever done, but how we’re doing it is really cutting edge, it's anything but traditional!

For the last two months, Gal Agadi and I have been deep in a collaborative GPT project folder, workshopping chapters and documenting every story we’ve ever shared. It started as a way to collect our thoughts, but it turned into something much more powerful.
