Although not many, Medium houses some of my best blog pieces that have never seen on any social media or personal website.

Even today, I vent out my creative juices and talk about stuff that doesn't necessarily appear on any of my social media or personal website.

This was a case of the Universe propelling me & giving me opportunities to make good on my skills.

It was November of 2021, I was fresh out of College and stubbed about the career I should be choosing.

On one hand, 
there was preparing for further studies by practicing for competitive exams.

And on the other hand, 
there was an exhausted mind.

Just slipping away into madness from the treadmill of being a student.

And then it happened.
The biggest and the worst panic attack of my life along with other worst-case scenarios snowballed into an avalanche of bad incidents.

I was out. With the worst mental state, I had ever been in, seeing a therapist, taking meds, and hoping the pain would just disappear.

And in the hopes to distract myself, I started writing. The writing was a great release of emotions and I got addicted to it.

Seeing as I was natural at it, I decided to take writing as my career choice. 
( A rather unconventional choice in any Indian Household.)

But surprisingly I wasn't met with any setbacks or underhanded comments...

On a random SUNDAY, my aunt called up and said that one of her friends is looking for someone who can help rewrite website content.

While I was rather cautious to take up...
I had no clue what a contract is, what freelancing is or what tenure meant.

But here is how It went down...
- I redid an entire website copy for an NGO
- Got it approved every 1000 words to keep the project manager in the loop
- I got my very first payment and suddenly I was a freelancer.

But the takeaway here isn't in the fancy wordplay, but in the practical visible results, I had.

I was offered several other projects like rewriting another website and creating fresh content for another NGO and writing blogs.

Also got me my first Internship.

It was all because of the personal brand I had built for myself as a writer.

That is what brings me to the next chapter of my short but fiery career.

This project I started during my college years as a way to learn new and practical skills around the web world but also around management and productivity.
