I am a keynote speaker and an executive coach. My work has appeared on Berita Harian and Suria, during Singapore's primetime local news broadcast. I won a public speaking competition when I was 17 and was a victim of bullying while I was growing up. I started volunteering in NGOs, which allowed me access to serve and learn from international scholars and speakers at 22. I draw upon the wisdom gleaned from meeting these personalities to give training, speaking and consulting work that has reached audiences in Belgium, Vietnam, Bangladesh, South Africa, Senegal, UK & US. I've coached executives from the brands: MasterCard, J.P Morgan Chase & Co, AIA, Prudential, Manulife, Deloitte, KPMG, Bernhard Schulte, ERA, GSK and Abbott, among others. I started the coaching and training consultancy, Seyrul Consulting in 2022 after a 10 year period which consisted of me organising events, movie screenings, art residencies and concerts in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, serving heads-of-states, and embassies and also helping organise mental health conferences with international scholars & professionals. Today, the consultancy supports projects in MNCs, SMEs, the government and NGOs for their sales, communication and performance-based needs. With a Deputy Superintendent of Police rank, I lead over 1300 police officers as their Head Manpower and the team clinched the Best National Service Unit Award in 2021 & 2022 My notable media features include being in Vietnamese media for leadership talks, Southeast Asian Studies academic journals on volunteerism, Senegalese media for humanitarian work and Singaporean media for my speeches. I volunteer with Sout Ilaahi, which aims to connect Muslims in Singapore with scholars who are well-versed in traditional sciences and contemporary social issues such as depression, loneliness, and anxiety.
