I am a passionate and innovative educator that shares a vision assuring that each and every child feels valued and equipped with the necessary tools and resources to thrive in college and their communities. In my experience as a special education teacher in urban school districts, I have cultivated a strong rapport with my students and their families while preparing them with rigorous academic reading and writing curriculum that have enabled their literacy and comprehension skills. As an educator, I enjoyed sharing insight and knowledge as much as learning from others, working collaboratively, and creating authentic relationships. Building and maintaining relationships throughout my career has allowed me to understand ways in which my acquired skills, knowledge, and talents could be transferable and applicable to various industries. My extensive experience in working with stakeholders in both educational and project management environments has given me in-depth understanding of how relationship building contributes positively to adoption and retention. I am confident in my ability to adapt to diverse cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds, which allows me to prioritize passionate, empathetic, and customer-centric approaches to user and client success. Of course, this also means maintaining effective collaborative relationships across teams to ensure we are consistently prioritizing the needs of those we partner with. On a personal note, I am a Haitian 🇭🇹 native that quickly learned to adapt and assimilate to the American culture while still maintaining indigenous cultural traditions and values. I was raised in Brooklyn, New York where I, like many locals passionately argue is the finest borough in NYC 🗽 (no doubt about it). Additionally, I am passionate about social justice and being the best dog mom to my white Havanese puppy 🐶 Overall, I believe that my background, attitude, and expertise will contribute valuable perspective to any team.
