You're working hard to create your dream, freedom-focused lifestyle as a writer. But under the surface, you're asking yourself: “Who am I to do this?!” You want to show your value, speak with confidence, and be direct about what you offer, without feeling like a fraud. Because this isn’t just about building a freelance medical writing business.
It’s about creating a new way of life that feels true to who you are, without pretending, overcompensating, or losing your integrity in the process. Yet, when you try to put yourself out there, your brain starts actively sabotaging you:
→ “I don’t like to toot my own horn in public.”
→ “I’m afraid I’ll botch it with my first client.”
→ “How can I say I’m an expert when I haven’t done this before?”
→ “I KNOW what I know... but I have nothing to show for it yet.” You start wondering if you're just trying to sound impressive.
You question whether the discomfort you’re experiencing means you're being inauthentic.
You feel like you’re walking a fine line between showing up proudly and sounding like a commodity. So you pull back. You start Googling certifications. You look into credentials you don’t even want, just to feel more legitimate. And still, something doesn’t feel right. Because the truth is, this isn’t a credentials problem.
 It’s not even about experience.
It’s a visibility problem. An identity problem. An “I’ve-never-seen-anyone-do-this-in-a-way-that-looks-like-me” problem. You’ve spent years in systems that only rewarded you when you followed rules. When you kept your head down. When you didn’t ask for more.
So now, when you're trying to lead with your instincts, everything in your body tells you to freeze. Not because you're not ready, but because you're finally building something that doesn't require external validation. You’re being invited to: → Call your expertise what it is
→ Trust your gut, even when it’s uncomfortable
→ Talk about your work like it matters (because it does) You wonder if it’s “too soon.”
You wonder if you’ll mess it up.
You wonder if this is integrity… or fear. But deep down, you know: - You’re capable - You have something important to offer - That no title or certification could capture what makes you valuable You just haven’t been in an environment that’s reflected it back to you in the way you needed it to, yet. You’re not faking it. You’re not overpromising. You’re simply stepping into the version of you who’s been there all along... waiting to be trusted. And your integrity isn’t a liability. It’s what will set you apart, so you'll never be hunting for business or feeling unstable. You are already enough. #medicalwriting #freelancewriting #prospology —————— I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

Academia taught you to be thorough and justified in all communications. But in freelance medical writing, that approach isn’t getting you anywhere. You've just finished your PhD, and it took a lot of work to get here. But now you want to be taken seriously as a freelance medical writer, and you're realizing your old way of doing things just won't cut it anymore. Until now, you’ve been rewarded for long paragraphs, complex reasoning, and backing every claim with high-quality citations. You’ve learned to pre-empt every question, and defend your thinking from every possible angle. Because of this, every email becomes an essay, and that's 'normal' for you. You justify your thinking to prove you’re capable. And that's how you've been approaching communications with prospective clients, too. But here’s the problem: You’re not in a university anymore—you’re running a business. Lengthy emails in business don't say "thorough and justified"—they say "desperate and inexperienced." Clients don't want perfect logic—they want clarity, confidence, and brevity. When your emails are long and overly detailed, it creates friction for the reader. They’re juggling multiple deadlines and need to scan quickly for what’s being said or asked of them. If there's no clear ask that they can find within a couple of seconds of reading, they'll hit 'delete' or you'll fall to the bottom of their inbox for an eternity. A long email doesn't communicate thoughtfulness. It communicates that you’re trying too hard. Or worse—that you don’t know how business works. In this industry, unclear communication is the fastest way to be passed over for a project. Every message should make it easier for a prospective client to say 'yes' to you—not harder. It's not about being cold or robotic. It's about: ✅ Making your point in 1-3 sentences (not 6-10) ✅ Knowing what decision needs to be made and stating it clearly ✅ Learning to trust that if they want more context, they’ll ask Because if your email sounds like you’re pleading your case, they’ll assume you’re not ready. They'll sense the desperation. They won't want to take a risk on you, and you'll lose out on big opportunities. In business, clarity is leadership. And you can’t build trust with clients if they have to work too hard to figure out what you’re saying. This is what it means to think like an entrepreneur: → To speak from grounded clarity. → To lead every interaction with confidence. → To operate like someone who already knows their value (without needing to prove it!) If you're looking for training and support in stepping into your most authentic and confident self in business, I'm accepting waitlist applications for The 'Thriving & Free' Medical Writer Program™. #medicalwriting #confidencebuilding #businesscoach #prospology --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

Gaining momentum in your career was always a TOP priority. But, these days, you're wondering if there's a point of diminishing return on this approach... This phenomenon is when you keep putting more time, effort, or resources into something but start getting less and less in return. At first, it was like watering a thirsty plant—every effort you made in your career had a noticeable, positive outcome that made you feel great. But, recently, it's like your plant is drowning! The more you try, the LESS benefits you see. In fact, you're starting to feel like it's not worth it to keep trying. At the same time, your relationship with money is strained. Any time you need to dip into your savings to make the present day easier, you're smacked in the face with guilt about how it means you're a failure ('that money was meant for other things!'). This is taking a toll on your relationship with YOURSELF because your income and career momentum has always been a huge part of your identity—it's how you know you're 'a good person.' Let's uncover what's going on here: First, you really ARE seeing diminishing returns, but it's not through lack of trying. It's because, somewhere along the way, you fell into a routine of doing 'what works' instead of following your intuition. Life has seasonality, most of which is unpredictable. The same is true for business. You can plan ahead 'til the cows come home, but there are ALWAYS unforeseen challenges, setbacks, and blockers up ahead. One of these blockers is what you're facing right now: your money mindset. You've experienced trauma in the past around being productive, so your subconscious mind is trying to keep you busy because that's 'safe.' Money symbolizes safety and success, so you've made busyness and productivity mean 'working hard equals great life.' The problem is, that's simply not true, and adult you is figuring that out now. Every time you're torn between taking a practical, 'this is what's always worked in the past' approach versus following your intuition about what's best for you NOW, your past self (subconscious) and new self become entangled. Your intuition knows the difference between an action you took before (e.g., going for a walk when stressed), the reason your past self thinks that resulted in a positive outcome (e.g., 'exercise makes me feel good'), and the ACTUAL reason why it was positive (e.g., 'I needed a change in environment'). Your intuition knows that when you think you need to be productive, what you ACTUALLY need is to regulate your nervous system so you can reassure yourself that you're safe now and nothing bad's going to happen (like it did when you were a child). When you get to the bottom of what REALLY drives results versus what is just an unhealthy coping mechanism, you'll finally be free. --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

Here's a story of how I stopped an aspiring freelancer in their tracks after realizing they were totally misaligned. Learn from their mistakes! #medicalwriting #freelance #freelancing #personalbranding

6

Here’s one of the major signs that you’re NOT ready to launch a freelance medical writing business yet: Your writing lacks compassion. You’re doing your best to communicate clearly and professionally. You diligently fact-check every claim. You think carefully about structure. But you’re missing the point. Nothing feels personal. Nothing feels deeply human. And that’s needed more than ever, in the age of AI. Right now, you’re putting words on a page, but they’re disconnected from your reader’s lived experience. You can feel the gap—you just don’t know how to close it yet. The first step is recognizing this: You’re trying to speak to an entire population group, not a single human being. And that's the biggest thing keeping your content generic. It’s very hard to imagine an entire population group thinking, feeling, and experiencing the same thing. Because of that, your writing stays on the surface. It delivers information, but it never truly SPEAKS to anyone. It’s like giving someone directions in a city, without asking where they're from or where they’re trying to go. If you want to connect fully with your reader, you have to get inside their world. Get under their skin. Show them you understand what they’re going through, so they trust you enough to listen. For example, if one of my students says: “Scared because the treatment is highly scientific and complex.” I push them further. WHY does that scare them? If it’s not evident in your plan, you haven’t thought about it. And if you haven’t thought about it, your writing will be disconnected from the reader’s reality. And if your writing is disconnected from the reader’s reality, they won’t give two sh*ts about what you have to say. What's the REAL reason they’re reading? Is it that they’re afraid of blindly trusting a healthcare professional with their body because they don’t understand their diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment? Is it that they don’t feel confident making a decision about their health because the science feels overwhelming, and that fear is paralyzing? Until you get to the root of what’s actually happening for them, and tie it to the bigger transformation they want, your writing will fall flat. When your writing falls flat, you don't make an impact. And when you don't make an impact, you don't get consistent work. Surface-level awareness of a reader’s needs isn’t going to cut it anymore. Write for ONE person, as if you're sitting across from them in the middle of their hardest day. Not because you have to. Because it's the only way to create something meaningful enough to matter. #medicalwriting #freelance #freelancewriting #prospology --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

You only have so much life to live. If you want it to be memorable for all the BEST reasons, it's time to get with the program. You can read 100 books or buy a $250k MBA, but you'll still learn more from your first year in business. Doing is learning. When I work with someone 1:1 for an entire year (my most popular coaching program), I gain intricate knowledge of their business because I’m there with them in the early stages of its inception and development. They don’t need to know how they’ll reach six figures when they enroll—they just need to show up, implement feedback, and make small pivots as we go until results start to unfold. It's iterative, it's personalized, and it emerges in real-time. A year later, these professionals don’t just have a business they love working in and on every day—they identify as being successful business owners because they ARE successful business owners. Their confidence is undeniable. They're magnetic to their ideal clients. They're the best version of themselves. They can hardly remember their old lives. The truth is, if you want to live a purposeful, fulfilling life on your own terms, there is NO course, certificate, degree, or otherwise that will help you achieve your desired outcome. Knowing the difference between a misplaced and a dangling modifier WILL NOT help you out in the real world. You already know how to write, instinctively. The only way to get where you want to be is to... → learn to enjoy the journey itself, → appreciate the unique value that you bring to the table, → make the most of the time and energy you have, → throw "shoulds" out the window and focus only on what you want, → build genuine confidence and trust in yourself, → take calculated risks that make you feel uncomfortable, → analyze and reflect on everything you do to see what worked, → take advice only from those who truly understand and appreciate you and have achieved the result you want, and → only take action when you've solidified a vision for your future that will make all the ongoing effort worthwhile. Even across the 350+ trainings in my Freelance Medical Writing Academy, I: ➡️ Share perspectives from 80+ collaborators, purely as sources of inspiration; never as the 'proven' or 'best' way. ➡️ Show my students what worked for ME in MY business, but never tell them how to live their own lives. ➡️ Teach Prospologers Community members how to get clearer on what matters and feels aligned to THEM. ➡️ Provide examples of real medical writing projects I've done, only as foundational context for their own business. It's YOUR business, it's YOUR life, and YOU get to reap the rewards. If you're feeling ready to stop over-preparing and start building your dream life, let's talk. #medicalwriting #freedomlifestyle --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

You’re taking action every day—refining your niche, posting consistently, interacting with your ideal clients. But your inbox is quiet, your calendar is empty, and the silence is SO LOUD. You figure there’s got to be something you’re missing. Because you DO feel aligned in your business and excited about growing it, even though it’s very new. But despite all the hours you’ve poured into your business, it still feels like no one’s seeing you. There’s still a massive disconnect between the clarity in your mind and the results (or lack thereof) in front of you. It’s maddening because you’re good at what you do. And if only a few companies would take a chance on you, they’d be so lucky to have you on their side. What the F is going on?? Here’s what no one tells you: If your brand doesn’t have depth, your message won’t land. It will skim the surface of what your clients need… and go right past them. You can write daily and still go unnoticed.
You can articulate your niche and still be ignored.
You can talk to your ideal clients and still have no work. Because when your message doesn’t reveal the WHY behind your work, the moments that shaped you, or the values that drive you, it doesn’t make an emotional connection with the reader. Prospects can’t see, feel or, believe what sets you apart. They don’t see or understand you—they just see content. Without that level of emotional understanding and connection, there’s no trust. And if your ideal clients don’t believe you’re someone you can see what they can’t, and don’t trust you to put their reputation in your hands, you won’t get hired. Period.

Even if you have a good skeleton for your brand—a clear niche, a strong voice, a defined service—you still need it to have a strong heartbeat. Your message needs to be rooted in what you stand for, how you think, what defines you, and how your writing is of value to your clients. Because clients aren’t just hiring a service—they’re hiring a point of view. Are you ready for your message to actually land? Let’s go deeper into your story, your patterns, and your convictions. Let’s figure out what makes you extraordinary—not just a writer, but the exact person your ideal clients want to HIRE. Let’s stop those wheels from spinning and get you the results you want, when you want them. The general rule of thumb is never to hire a coach unless they themselves have a coach. Is there any truth to this? I have 4 coaches for myself at the moment. 1️⃣ A finance coach, who's teaching me investment and wealth-building. 2️⃣ A YouTube ads expert, who's showing me how to make passive income. 3️⃣ A memoir coach, who's supporting me with publishing my first book. 4️⃣ A somatic guide, who's helping me re-train my nervous system. As you can see, I get very different things from each of them. There's always a specific objective I have in mind when I hire a coach, and that always directly relates to how much I'll grow as a person and whether I'll walk away feeling more empowered than when I started. But here's the thing: I don't think any of my coaches have coaches. In fact, I've never asked them. I don't believe it's a prerequisite for being a great coach yourself. However, I can definitely see the correlation. If I ask myself whether hiring each of my coaches has made me a better coach, here's where I land: 1️⃣ I'm never going to be a finance expert, but I believe building confidence around how I manage my money does make me a better coach. It's part of learning to enjoy the freedom I've created, which fits perfectly with my brand. 2️⃣ I believe in working smarter, not harder. My YouTube expert is showing me a whole new side of business, where passive income will unlock even more freedom for me. This will certainly transfer to my students in the long-run. 3️⃣ Publishing my memoir is not only going to be cathartic to me, helping me level up in my own coaching business, but I'll also inspire and model to my students more than ever how they can change their destiny on day at a time. 4️⃣ My somatic guide is helping me access parts of my brain I didn't even know I had, and lean into rest more whole-heartedly and authentically. I know this will have a positive impact on my students, as they witness my transformation. While I don't know if any of my current coaches have coaches, I trust my intuition 100%, and if I choose to hire someone it's because it's going to be good for me and help me further my purpose, personally and professionally. I do not believe that coaches are less effective if they don't have a coach themselves. But there is certainly a direct correlation between the likelihood of me hiring someone and the amount of 'inner work' they've done on themselves—that is undeniable. So, what's the verdict? If you're someone who likes to follow a set of pre-determined criteria to keep yourself in check, and that gives you comfort, definitely only hire coaches who have coaches themselves. But if you're a highly intuitive person, you don't have to rationalize your actions—you can simply say "I know this is right for me" and go right ahead. Do you agree? --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

Your present will one day be your past. One of my students reminded me of something sentiment today. She was reflecting on how hard it is to stay in a job she’s outgrown—navigating workplace politics, strict vacation rules, and the pressure to justify wanting a life outside of work. And yet, despite how fed up she is, she won’t quit… not yet. Because what she learned in childhood about always maintaining financial stability still makes sense to her. She’s not ready to take the leap. And that’s okay. I told her I’ve been through the exact opposite—leaving my job too soon, with no backup, no safety net, and no income. I was living under someone else’s roof and unable to contribute financially for months. My identity crumbled, and I questioned everything. There’s no easy way through a transition like this. And there are two sides to every coin. Whether you leave too early or stay too long, it’s going to challenge you. And your intuition about which path is best for you is always valid. But, one day, you'll get to say, “I finally did it" or “I made it out.” And this messy, uncertain chapter you’re living through right now? It’ll be behind you. If you’re in that space right now—torn between survival and growth, safety and fulfillment—please know you’re not the only one feeling what you're feeling. But also know: this is the part of your story you’ll look back on with enormous pride. Because you got out. And this exact struggle is what will make it all worthwhile in the end. ♥️ #entrepreneurship #freedomlifestyle #worklifebalance --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

If you’re constantly questioning your decisions and getting nowhere in your freelance medical writing business, this is the shift you need to make:

14

For every 1 person who expresses gratitude, there are HUNDREDS more who benefit silently from your thoughtful and insightful marketing efforts. Let this be a reminder to KEEP GOING, even when the 1 doesn't come forward.

    11

You’re trying to decide what to write about in your first freelance medical writing sample, but nothing feels quite right. And the longer it takes, the more behind you feel. You don’t have a “pet topic,” you’re not obsessed with a specific therapeutic area, and everything you think of feels too broad, too basic, or too far removed from your true areas of interest. You could write about almost anything, but that doesn’t mean you know where to start. So you brainstorm. You try to be strategic. You consider everything you’ve seen others do. But none of it feels quite right. And when you can’t land on a strong idea, it makes you wonder: → “What if I choose something that’s bad for my business?” → “What if I waste time and it doesn’t help me succeed?” → “Is this proof I’m not cut out to be a freelance writer?” You’re not trying to be perfect. You’re just trying to do it RIGHT. But you’re starting from scratch. You’ve never taken on a freelance medical writing project before. And you’ve never had to invent a fake scenario that mimics the real world and still demonstrates your skill set. You’re used to having clear instructions and reacting to what’s in front of you. But now, you’re expected to make decisions from the other side. To decide who your work is for, what it should achieve, and what kind of communication challenge you want to solve. That’s not just writing—that’s leadership. And it’s why this is all feeling so heavy. When you haven’t been given that kind of freedom before, it’s overwhelming to decide how to use it. So, let me shift your perspective: This isn’t about finding the perfect topic. It’s about learning to think like the person a company would HIRE. This means: 1. Finding a timely topic that clients are already worried about 2. Mapping out the communication barriers they’re likely facing 3. Creating a sample that works within those barriers, not around them The right ideas will reveal themselves because you’ll be solving a problem and not checking a box. You’re not behind (there’s actually no such thing as ‘behind’). You’re just looking at this the wrong way. Once you prioritize hire-ability over ego, it’ll all start to fall into place. #medicalwriting #freelancewriting #businesscoach —————— I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

    11

You want to leave your job, but you also want to feel safe doing it. Otherwise, there’ll never be a “right time” to move on and fully embrace entrepreneurship. As it stands, you're still working 12-hour shifts, earning a pay check every month, and relying on a structure that gives you stability. But you're not getting the freedom or flexibility you need. In the midst of it all, you’re building a freelance medical writing business. Not because it’s easy, but because you know this is how you’ll finally take back control of your time, health, and work-life balance. You’ve made progress, but it’s starting to feel like a LOT to upkeep alongside your current schedule. You’re tired, but you’re still pushing forward. And you’re wondering how long you can keep committing to both your full-time job and your freelance business, simultaneously. You’re thinking about decreasing your hours. Hoping you’ll start getting clients soon. Trying to figure out where the light is at the end of the tunnel (and whether it’s actually getting closer). So you wait. You tell yourself: – “I’ll cut back once I’ve gained traction.” – “When I have clients, I’ll feel more confident leaving my day job.” – “I’ll just keep going as I am for now.” But here’s the thing: It’s a chicken and egg situation. Clients don’t show up when everything is finally calmer or easier for you. They show up when you’ve created the space—mentally, physically, emotionally—for them to land. Not only that, they KNOW when that space doesn’t exist yet (they can feel it). This is the point where most people stall. They try to build momentum inside a schedule that’s already full to the brim. They keep waiting for a sign that it's safe to go all in when, in reality, the first move is THEIRS. You don’t have to quit your job yet. But you DO need to stop expecting everything to fall into place on autopilot. What you need is a realistic, tapered approach. For example: → Moving to 2x 12-hour and 1x 8-hour shift per week → Using that time to think clearly, act strategically, and engage intentionally → Showing up like someone whose business is real—even if it’s still forming → Not waiting to feel ready—building the conditions that will make your readiness inevitable Because once your foundation is in place, your message is sharp, and your schedule has space... clients will notice. And, more importantly, YOU'LL notice. You’ll start to believe this life is available to you now—not "someday." This isn’t about walking away from your full-time job too soon. It’s about making decisions that allow you to move forward with purpose and start truly building the life you've always dreamed of. The tunnel doesn’t light up on its own. You’re the one who flips the switch. #medicalwriting #freelance #freelancing #businesscoach --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

You’re trying to write the About section of your LinkedIn profile. But every sentence sounds like either a résumé or a robot, and you're bashing your head against the wall. You want it to reflect who you really are. You want to speak with confidence, without sounding overly promotional. You want it to sound focused, relevant, and clear, without losing your voice in the process. But the more you try to make it simple, the more complex it gets: → “How do I tell my story without straying away from the point?” → “What actually matters to my ideal clients?” → “Am I over-inflating myself, or just saying what needs to be said?” → “Do I sound like a person or a product?!” You alternate between cutting things out and adding more back in. You’re highlighting, commenting, and second-guessing. You want to stay true to yourself, but you're not sure how to do that why staying relevant to your ideal clients. So you hesitate. You re-read everything 200 times. You wonder if it’s even possible to sound direct, confident, and authentic at the same time. And you ask yourself whether this resistance means something deeper, like a worthiness glitch you can't quite put your finger on. But it’s not about your worth. It’s not about how much you know. It’s not about your credentials (or lack thereof). It’s actually a storytelling issue. Clarity doesn’t come from editing harder. It comes from understanding the story you’re trying to tell: who it's for and why it matters. Strong bios don’t just summarize—they connect. They show your relevance without trying to prove it, and invite the reader into something real. That means: → Saying what’s essential (not everything) → Staying aligned with your niche (and your truth) → Showing your value (without slipping into performance mode) You don’t need to sound more impressive. You need to sound more YOU—focused, intentional, and willing to say the things that actually matter to your clients. That’s what will make your work stand out. That’s what will give your message power. That’s what will give your story (and company) the audience it deserves. #medicalwriting #freelancewriting #storytelling #brandvoice —————— I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

I enjoyed presenting on underutilized AI applications at today's American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) conference! 🤖 This isn't my usual topic of choice. But, as someone who's been using AI every day for a year now, I wanted to inspire medical communicators on new ways to explore it themselves. I received a lot of thoughtful and insightful questions, and hopefully I helped switch the debate from 'human vs. AI' to 'human elevated by AI.' Also, I mostly explored AI through the lens of personal branding and strategic networking (my arena), which kept the content authentic and original. Looking forward to the next one! 😀 #medicalwriting #artificialintelligence #networking #personalbranding --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

Prospology's next virtual conference is coming, and it's going to be LIGHTYEARS ahead of anything we've hosted before. Here's why: 1️⃣ We’ll prioritize live implementation. Attendees will take action in real time alongside other driven professionals who are dedicated to improving their life and business. 2️⃣ Every session will be freedom-focused. Each individual will be there because they want to achieve financial freedom, so that’s exactly what we’re going to take action on. 3️⃣ We’ll blend strategy with self-discovery. Yes, we’ll get into models, marketing, and money, but that only works when it’s combined with deeper mindset and identity work. 4️⃣ All experts will be top-notch. If they’re not purpose-driven, we won’t consider them. They have to be genuine, passionate, and outstanding at what they do professionally. 5️⃣ We’ll provide attendance options. With two different agendas on the first and second day of the event, you can choose one or both days, with time to process in between. Here's where you come in! Over the next few weeks... I'll be looking for speakers 👀. If there's someone you've been following who fits this description (#4), tag them below so I can explore the possibility of bringing them in as a speaker or workshop host. (You don't have to know them personally.) Note that this is NOT an industry-specific event, meaning anyone in the personal development, entrepreneurial, or freedom lifestyle realm will be considered as a collaborator. Titles are irrelevant. To be clear: experts do not have to have previously collaborated with Prospology before, or do work that relates to medical communications. I'm looking for genuine alignment with my vision for the event (above). You can also put yourself forward, if you love running workshops and have an idea for something that would be hugely beneficial for attendees. Once I've considered any initial nominations that come through LinkedIn or email, I'll start reaching out to specific experts who I have in mind. Until then, nothing has been discussed or decided yet, so there are endless possibilities! 🤩 📅 Save the date: Sept 27–28, 2025 📍Location: Virtual Swipe the carousel for a sneak peek at what this experience is all about 👇 And follow me for more details coming soon! --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.

Nala participated in a group Zoom call today, giving us 5 mins of undivided attention before muting us all and tapping out for a nap. 🤣 🤣

"How do I find clients?!" is the most common question among aspiring freelance medical writers, but it's the WRONG question. Here's why: It’s like being lost in the woods, starving and exhausted, and trying to chase down a wild animal with your bare hands. You’re shouting, “Where are all the bears?!” while crashing through the trees—and I’m over here, sitting calmly beside a well-placed honey pot, watching them walk right up to me 😆 There's literally no need to go out hunting for bears (clients) every day. You already know there are tons of them out in the forest (on LinkedIn). And the more you look and shout for them, the more they WALK AWAY and ignore you. The real aim of the game is to create bait so appealing—so irresistible—that the right clients find their way to you, willingly, because you've made it feel obvious, easy, and aligned to say "yes." This happened to my student this week. First, she did the 'inner work,' behind the scenes, to carve out a strategic niche for herself as a freelance medical writer. Then, she figured out exactly who needs her services and mapped out why she is uniquely positioned to serve them. Then, all she had to do was post on LinkedIn a couple of times in a way that resonated with her ideal clients, and they all came flooding in. She instantly gained 16 followers who are EXACTLY the people she wants to work with, and it's only a matter of time before they start reaching out with writing projects. And this was before we'd even optimized her LinkedIn profile and trained her on how to write compelling content! Imagine what results she's going to get in the coming weeks 🤯. Yes, it's very simple. No, it's not easy. That's why she hired me. Things are getting lighter and more fulfilling for her every day. What she once dreamed about is now a dream that she's actively living out, in real-time. Pretty soon, people are going to be copying her (and not getting the same results because they're not her). And we're ready for that, too. If you're ready to start taking your career seriously and build a freedom-focused lifestyle that makes all the struggle up until this point feel worthwhile... I'm considering applicants for The 'Thriving & Free' Medical Writer Program™ wait list right now! 🙌🏼 I have both 6-month and 12-month enrolment options available, with flexible payment plans. If you want in, let's chat. #businesscoach #marketing #freedomlifestyle #worksmarternotharder --------- I help ambitious professionals transform burnout 🥱 into financial freedom 💸 by healing their relationship with work ❤️‍🩹 and aligning with their true purpose 🎯.
