I ran all the operations, sales, marketing and internal projects. I built the systems and processes from the ground up in order for the company to scale effectively.

When a person clicks on your ad and goes to your website, you need to make sure that the data fed back from your website to the ad platform is correct. How we brought in 🔥 $170k in additional revenue for Travelstart - a booking platform 👇 

✅ Our research identified large drop-of rates during the booking journey. 

✅ We saw that it's unclear how many steps there are in the checkout and what’s the next step - causing this high drop-off. Also, with competitors (KLM, Booking.com etc) we saw the use of the checkout steps. 

✅ We ran a test where the variant had a progress bar clearly showing the number of steps involved in the booking journey. 

✅ Not only did the test 'win', but the 4.41% increase in purchases/bookings and a 6.27% increase in Add To Carts resulted in an additional $170k in revenue. 

✅ The test was implemented as a change on the site meaning this additional revenue will constant month on month. 

Small changes, massive increases.

We all know this familiar phrase - the statement that every amateur gambler thinks they'll be the first to overturn. 

But we all understand the gist. 

You may win some, you may lose some, but in the end, the House will always win. 

CRO is similar. 

Most of the time, you will not have winning tests flying around. 

But do enough tests and the odds tend to increase in your favor. 

Because even if many fail, the ones that do win make such large impacts that they're all we need in order to justify all the losses.
