HOW to BUILD a world class 30k LinkedIn network in less than one year.

A proven leader in the Petroleum Industry providing leadership and hands on experience in safely transporting hazardous materials for Race Trac Petroleum LLC. Responsibilities include Pre/Post trip inspections of truck and tank hauling equipment, ensuring all trucks have proper certifications and meet all applicable rules and regulations imposed by the Department of Transportation.

Ensuring the vapor recover system is in place and working properly, to ensure the air quality and environment are protected from harmful fumes at all times. I am a dedicated and meticulous leader that always ensures product is delivered in accordance with Energy Dispatch protocol and safety procedures.

Experienced transportation expert in the hauling of flat bed operations merchandise.  Served as the Senior Trainer for new hires and provided technical support and leadership to the development of new employees.   

  Implemented safety training programs to ensure new employees were properly trained, motivated, safety conscious and ready for the heavy hauling of construction equipment that was delivered to The Home Depot and Lowe's Home Improvement Stores.

Walmart Incorporated

As a mid-level executive within the Walmart Super Center, I was entrusted with making area specific merchandising, operations and people development decisions, including budgeting/for casting and assessing economic trends and demographic information. 

 Lead a team of 200 plus employees during overnight operations and daily operations. At times, only manager on duty to ensure the store was in tip top condition. Duties included management oversight of merchandise, deliveries, restocking of shelves, all cash register operations, and resolving disputes with customers.

 Other responsibilities included reviewing and recommending promotions and merit increases for employees.

 Identified best practices and improved initiatives to reduce loss of revenue within the loss prevention department.

Assistant Manager

United States Army, National Guard

In the Army National Guard served my country as an experienced administrator and operational manager and tactical soldier during two major wars (Desert Shield) and (Desert Storm). Also, served as a liason during Hurricane Andrew, the storm which devastated the Miami Florida area in 1992.

 My unit the 2nd Battalion, 124th Infantry Regiment, was the 1st National Guard Unit called upon to provide security and to provide immediate relief to the thousands of Floridians displaced with no food or shelter. I facilitated the securing of food from destroyed restaurant freezers and dissimated the rations appropriately. With my team, we patrolled the devasted streets of Miami, ensuring that peace was maintained and quelled any looting that may have erupted. The decay in infrastructure demanded my attention to detail and my ability to handle stressful situations.

** Awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Sharpshooter Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar. 

** Awarded the (Humanitarian Service Medal) for my act of bravery during the Hurricane Andrew crises.

 ** Awarded the ( Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon) for tactical infantry live bullets training in the jungles of Panama.

 ** Attended the Army's Primary Leadership Development Course. 

 In the United States Army served as a non commissioned officer in Fort Polk, La. Duties included management oversight of all administrative duties to include merit promotions for enlisted personnel. Elected to serve a period of one year with the Criminal Investigation Division, (CID) as an investigator. 

 **Top Secret Security Clearance Held (SCI)**

 My final years with the United States Army were served in El Paso, Texas were I continued my management leadership oversight as a Segeant with the Headquarters A 3rd Battalion, 6th Air Defense Artillery Brigade.
