Lemme introduce myself-I’m a cost accountant and have spent the last two years employed at RSM US LLP as a technical accountant, one of the Big Seven firms. Different areas where I’ve worked in these 2 years: 1)Worked as a technical accounting consultant (TAC) and delivered work in multiple real estate and equipment leases for the purpose of various lease templates and lease accounting software that focuses predominantly on ASC-842. 2) Worked as a financial consultant, and technical accountant under accounts payable which includes the invoice matching process in SAP GUI. 3) Worked on FAO project performing month-end closing responsibilities such as reconciliation, journal entries, and AP invoice processing. 4) Worked in the ASC-606 (revenue recognition) domain. The task entailed the study and assessment of revenue contracts entered by the client to ensure revenue recognition in accordance with the mandated rules. 5) Currently working on a project that requires invoice abstraction in AP workflow software to validate client accounts payable and resolve purchase orders, invoices, or payment problems, as well as analyze and reconcile rent payments and landlord rent statements. Furthermore, I engage vendors to resolve issues, negotiate payment arrangements, and process and code invoices, guaranteeing correctness and prompt payment.
