Cannonball Bike Run

The Cannonball Bike Run is a motorcycle rally that covers a large distance across europe within one week. My role consists of managing, organizing, and keeping the event running smoothly over the course of the week.

Some of my tasks include:

-Ensuring each participant is checked into the end of stage hotel every night.
-Ensuring banners & branding are setup at each part of the stage.
-Providing excellent service to each person attending the event.
-Creating a welcoming & friendly atmosphere throughout each day of the event.
-Checking in with hotels & restaurants.
-Planning & creating the 3000+ KM route months in advance to the event.
-Translating on-paper rally notes into digital PDF & physical route books.
-In general ensuring 60+ people have a seamless and easy experience throughout the week.

This was a challenging hybrid role which saw me take on many new challenges in a fast-paced environment. My main role was helping create partnerships between Radicle and other Web3 organizations, alongside helping out with marketing through content creation for Twitter & Discord.

A few tasks I worked on during my time at Radicle were:

-Building out a sales pipeline through Notion.
-B2B Outreach and attending partnership calls, introductory calls, and follow up calls.

A challenging and enjoyable role that involved introducing new cryptocurrency projects to appropriate Calls Channels & Social Media Influencers in order to publicise their projects.

By leveraging my network of contacts I sell multiple promotional packages to numerous cryptocurrency start-ups.

A key part of my success was attributable to my ability to communicate clearly both verbally and across a wide range of digital channels including Telegram, Discord, Twitter, Instagram, email and TikTok.

I provide this service remotely to multiple different companies in the space on a freelance basis.

My role with Powerpost involved managing the social media accounts for a wide variety of their clients remotely.

This involved creating daily social media posts for all clients on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram as well as creating graphics & videos using Canva and Sony Vegas.

It was particularly enjoyable being able to create engagement and interaction on social media whilst building the number of social media followers for my clients.

My part-time role involved taking care of all walk in customers who were looking to book or learn more. Additionally I also helped with limousine changeovers between charters to ensure cleanliness and that all amenities were replenished in order to ensure the best client experience. This role involved greeting clients, booking for clients, appointment setting, stock control and reordering all necessary supplies.

Working as part of a team in a fun environment was an extremely enjoyable way to start my working career.

I made the leap over to the crazy world of Sales Tech, since then I've taken off on a journey with ColdIQ using my past skillset to provide unrivaled Linkedin & Email marketing combined with the latest and greatest AI technology.

Tiering your ICP is a neccesity for outbound in 2025.

Here's why it's crucial: 

On my webinar last week with Clay & LeadIQ, I got asked why it's important to tier accounts.

And to answer that, every company simply is not equal, and when you define what is a "Tier 1" account, you need to be:

↳ More Careful
↳ Hyper-relevant
↳ Focus on timing > everything.

But before we dive into that, we need to focus on tiering the accounts first.

We score companies based on the amount of qualifying factors they have, for example...

If they have:

↳ 50+ employees 
↳ recently funded
↳ in the tech industry.

... and are US based.

We'll consider this a Tier 1 account, if they have 30+ employees and the rest we'll say it's a Tier 2 account.

If they loosely follow the guidelines but aren't quite matching the criteria, we'll classify them as Tier 3 or Tier 4.

And why is this important? 👀 

Because once we identify who our Tier 1 & Tier 2 accounts are, we're going to focus on being hyper-relevant.

This means we'll monitor every signal on these accounts that is a trigger for us.

There's no point in rushing to try and work with your dream clients, timing and relevancy is more important than ever.

And once we're ready to reach out, we're going to ensure we hit them with:

↳ Ads
↳ Linkedin Messages
↳ Emails

... And even calls.

That way we can ensure our message is getting seen at the right time.

You might know exactly who your ICP is...

But knowing when to reach out is a lot more complex.

A lot of companies opt to just reach out anyways and hope that the timing is right.

They blast out emails to static lists, with templated emails that aren't relevant to the prospect or company.

... But this leads to low reply rates, high bounce rates, and simply isn't an efficient approach.

With how good sales tech is getting in 2025, you can almost guarantee:

a) they are currently looking for a solution to a problem you solve. (e.g: Hiring!)
b) your email is actually landing in their primary inbox and not the spam folder.
c) their company is truly a fit for your offering.
