I’m Miro, and I’m writing from Milano, Italy. 
I have almost 20 years of experience in software development, and as an entrepreneur, I have created successful IT companies where I'm in touch with great and talented colleagues.

After doing enterprise software for so many years, I was letterly thrilled when I discovered WEB3 and specifically what decentralization can bring to us and how it can disrupt monopolies created by big organizations and tech companies. 

I have started:
- demind.io:  a blockchain company focused on developing Smart Contracts, Non-fungible Tokens, and DApps
- Ucollect.me: a NFT Membership platform

Okay, Louis Vuitton, you have my attention!  

The luxury brand is once again pushing the boundaries of fashion with their latest NFT drop.  

Their newest addition?  

An $8,400 virtual jacket inspired by Pharrell Williams’ Fall/Winter 2024 collection runway.  

The digital version of this iconic leather jacket has just been launched exclusively to the 200 members of the LV Via community.  

The NFT gives access to a special token-gated website, where the community can buy the virtual jacket.  

Plus, they’re on the wait list to receive the tangible jacket by the end of this year.  

It’s the brand's first venture into transforming a ready-to-wear item into an NFT, but let’s not forget they already issued three other tokens:  
- $42,000 limited-edition version of the iconic LV trunk  
- $9,000 orange monogram Speedy 40 bag  
- $6,300 phygital mini trunk back in November  

But it’s also a perfect example of how brands can use Phygitals and NFTs to innovate their loyalty program experiences.  

Who knows what they'll come up with next?  

But one thing's for sure, I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

I say Crypto, You say Bitcoin.  

When it comes to crypto, most minds leap straight to Bitcoin, and it's no wonder; Satoshi Nakamoto's digital coin has become synonymous with the cryptoverse.  

But let's face it, the crypto landscape is far more expansive and dynamic than just Bitcoin alone.  

And now that the dust has settled post-Bitcoin Halving, where do we go from here?  

Here's what's been catching my attention lately:  

- DeFi protocols and dApps built on Ethereum enable advanced trading, lending, borrowing, staking, and even entire decentralized financial institutions running on blockchains.  

- The evolving creator economy’s models and incentives for creating and monetizing digital content and media directly and fairly, with the rise of DeSo (we’ve all heard and used Farcaster at this point).  

- Speaking of fairness, big players are finally taking notice of crypto's potential: institutional investors, banks, and yes, even governments. They're finally integrating cryptocurrencies into their strategies and exploring blockchain solutions to modernize outdated systems.  

But hey, am I missing something? I'm all ears. 👇🏻

Sharing my 4 biggest struggles as a Web3 entrepreneur 👇🏻  

1. Shifting perspective, from running two successful Web2 companies to building and launching my first Web3 startup – a bit daunting, but also exhilarating.  

2. Predicting market trends and pinpointing the ideal market fit.  

3. Metrics. Metrics. Metrics. We're all obsessed with measuring the success/failure of a project based on transaction numbers, active wallets, and TVL (Total Value Locked). But sometimes, it feels like we're drowning in data without knowing what's actually important.  

4. Building a community from scratch in a new space for me, all while battling the 'crypto = scam' stigma and misconceptions surrounding blockchain. 

But hey, every day brings new lessons, right?  

Here are a few things that have been helping me out:  

- Embrace the learning curve: we're all newbies at some point, so don't be too hard on yourself.  
- Stay flexible: the market moves fast, so be ready to pivot if you need to.  
- Focus on making real connections and providing value: forget the flashy metrics for a minute – what matters most is building something people actually want. 
- Educate, educate, educate: help people understand what this whole Web3 thing is really about, and you'll earn their trust in no time.

How many of these predictions have come true so far?  

Recently I stumbled upon this paper from Bitwise Asset Management outlining their top 10 Crypto Predictions for 2024. 

Looking back at 2023, it's incredible to see how the crypto market has evolved:  

- Prices surged from their 2022 lows, with Bitcoin and Solana leading the pack with impressive gains of 128% and 495% respectively!  
- Crypto equities skyrocketed by 138%.  
- Major financial giants like BlackRock, Fidelity, and Franklin Templeton made significant commitments to the market.  

But what about 2024? Are we truly on the brink of crypto's "Mainstream Era"?  

Bitwise's predictions for this year are nothing short of exciting:  
1. Bitcoin smashing through the $80,000 mark to set a new all-time high.  
2. Spot bitcoin ETFs getting the green light, potentially becoming the most successful ETF launch ever.  
3. Coinbase's revenue doubling, exceeding Wall Street's wildest expectations. 
4. Stablecoins overtaking Visa in settlement volume.  
5. J.P. Morgan embracing tokenization by launching a fund on-chain.  
6. Ethereum's revenue more than doubling as crypto applications gain traction.  
7. Even Taylor Swift might be joining the NFT craze to connect with fans!  
8. Crypto becoming the go-to currency for AI assistants' online transactions. 
9. Prediction markets emerging as the next big thing, with over $100 million staked. 
10. A major Ethereum upgrade slashing transaction costs to below $0.01, opening doors for mainstream adoption.  

Now I want to know:

10 Crypto Predictions for 2024

TON might just be the missing link we've been waiting for.  

Here's why:  

When talking about "mass adoption" in Web3, we're always on the lookout for platforms that can smoothly transition Web2 users into the Web3 space.  

We saw the big moves: Polygon's partnerships, Coinbase's L2 launch for its 110M+ users, and even traditional finance giants are eyeing blockchain protocols.  

But, as far as “mass adoption” goes, TON might just steal the show.  

And it’s all because of one tiny detail:  

👉🏻 Telegram has over 900 million monthly active users.  

Since 2020, Telegram Mini Apps have allowed Web3 businesses to deploy DApps directly within the Telegram app.  

And, by partnering with TON, they're leveraging blockchain for payments, making it dead simple for users to onboard:  

👉🏻 They're starting with straightforward use cases that don't require users to get into the underlying blockchain interaction.  

And the kicker? No need to download anything extra – just the Telegram app.  

Could TON be the next big thing in mass adoption?
