👇🏻 My Mission The space my daughter and I are creating will be a curated platform where kids can create their own business profiles and sell their products or services. They will have the opportunity to connect with other ambitious JRpreneurs, develop skills, collaborate, forge partnerships, and ultimately propel their dreams into successful ventures. My goal is to provide a safe and inspiring environment where our kids will watch and learn from other JRpreneurs who share similar passions. 👇🏻 My Story I've always known that I wanted to be a father. I was 12 years old when I picked out my daughter's name, Savannah. In 2014, my dream came true. Working in the hospitality industry, I missed every holiday, every weekend, and nearly every evening during the first year of her life. When I transitioned to cubicle life, Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, I thought it was my saving grace to spend holidays and have dinner with my family. Wrong. So, during covid, as a single parent, with less than $5,000 in my bank account, I quit my job and started my own business. Oh yeah, Savannah's mom and I were together for 11 years but went through a tough divorce in 2018. As they say, tough times don't last- tough people do. Several years later, Savannah was inspired to start an art business and hosted her first show. She planned, marketed, and executed it all, with a bit of help from Dad. Instead of teaching her that hard work equals money, my goal was to show her that she could make money doing what she loves. It was about laying the foundation for living a life doing what you are passionate about. Yet, she pursued this dream alone because none of her friends shared the same ambition. So, through my journey, I realized that it's not parents who need a more professional platform like LI, but rather our kids. Like many of you, I am not only concerned about what is taught in the education system but frankly, the content our kids consume on their own or from their friends on platforms like YouTube or TikTok. That's why I'm beyond stoked to be building a space exclusively designed for our kid entrepreneurs, or better yet- JRpreneurs!
