1 year ago today, my family and I got on a plane
and left the only home I ever knew for 39 years.

We moved from New York to South Carolina.

It wasn't easy. It was scary. It was stressful.

- We didn't know anyone.
- I had just left my full-time job.
- We worried about our kids adjusting.

And the first two weeks were a nightmare!

- Our whole family got sick.
- Our NY home closing got delayed.
- Our apartment was a complete disaster.

Then we started to settle into our home...

- Fixed the little problems
- Explored our new town and city
- Met people and made some new friends.

Since the move, life has drastically improved...

- I prioritized my health (down 44 lbs).
- I made smart moves to grow my business.
- I found my faith. Got baptized and confirmed.

Most importantly these changes made me better.

Don't underestimate the power of your environment.

Two years ago I interviewed for 7 jobs…
and got none of them! 😡

In my prior company I was a Sales Director
leading a team of 50 people.

After an acquisition, I found myself back in
an entry level sales position.

I tried to justify why it was ok but I was lying
to myself. I felt like a complete failure.

Because of my negative mindset, I was
failing at my sales job and going broke.

I built up so much debt that I was forced to
sell my house to pay it off.

In my last job interview, the hiring manager
told me I was brilliant…. not brilliant enough!

When he called to let me down, I got off that
call more energized than ever.

It was my sign from the universe that it was
time to go all in on my own thing.

I started creating content, doing daily videos,
and joined networking communities.

2 years later, my business is taking off and I
work some of the top LinkedIn creators.

I’m building my own empire now instead of
helping someone else build theirs. ✌️

I open my eyes and check my watch - 3:59 a.m.

The way I see it I’ve got 2 choices:

1- Roll over and go back to bed. (I mean it is Sunday)
2- Hop outta bed and get to work on a LinkedIn post.

Here's the thing, either one is a good choice.

I was debating myself last night on taking today off.

On one hand:
- I haven't missed a day in over a month.
- I don't have too much time to engage.

On the other hand:
- I'm coming off my best two weeks ever.
- I don't want to stop the momentum

Ultimately, I made up my mind not to post today.

Then I changed my mind. 😉
