LinkedIn Growth Challenge

I used to be a copy-paste blogger 🤞 



Every time I faced a new topic, I'd run to Google, snatch headlines from the top posts, and call it a day.


Then, something clicked. I realized I wasn't creating, I was consuming. 

So, I ditched the copy-paste routine and adopted the thrill of research.

Now, here's my (slightly embarrassing) process for brewing up a blog:

Let's say the topic is: "How to grow on LinkedIn?"

➡ I begin searching for the exact phrase in Google.
➡ I look out for the first 10 blogs that pop up.
➡ Dissect them thoroughly and take notes for the Headings and sub-headings.
➡ I will converse with ChatGPT for the same topic and get relevant data.
➡ Curate my blog outline with all the notes I have taken.

Now comes the more research.

➡ I search for the Heading 2 one by one in Google and gather data.
➡ I'll research for apt and relevant keywords from Google and tools.
➡ I take notes from my search and weave them into sentences with flow.
 
I'll be mindful of the flow of the blog throughout. Irrelevant information may distract the audience.

📌 Craft a hook-worthy Introduction that says the gist of the blog and what to expect from the blog.

📌 Craft a powerful conclusion and CTA that tempts readers to take action immediately.
 
And, that's how my blog ends.

It's not perfect, this process of mine. But it's honest, it's mine, and it helped me ditch the "copy-paste" monster.

This is how I got my first client on LinkedIn 👇 



I started my journey on LinkedIn around July 2022. 

I had,
❎ No idea about LinkedIn
❎ No idea about Freelancing
❎ No idea about writing as a side hustle


I started exploring LinkedIn. 
I watched YouTube videos and read blogs about building a side hustle via LinkedIn.

I started to build my profile, though I had a LinkedIn profile for five years.
I gave connection requests to people whomsoever in my industry and their connections. 

One fine day, one of those connections became my inbound lead. 

I never knew why and how he chose me for his requirement.
That was my 'Aha' moment.

I have just restarted my career and stand amidst the chaos with no direction. Forever grateful to him for selecting such a person.

That is what builds my confidence that even I can do anything.

All I wanted to say is,

Keep on doing your job perfectly, even in the storm.
