I work with children, teens, families, couples, and women.  I have extensive experience with issues involving special needs, their siblings, and the family unit, especially Autism Spectrum Disorders. A few of the issues I work with are depression, self-harm, AD/HD, Autism, school concerns, marriage, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, communication, and many more. I have completed Gottman Level 2 training in Marriage Therapy.

Licensed Professional Counselor

I worked with survivors of major disasters, war, childhood physical and sexual trauma, rape, violent crime, and other forms of traumatic events using a holistic and systemic understanding of traumatic stress.

How people respond to traumatic stress is an individual matter based on a number of factors including psychological, emotional, social, cultural, biological, spiritual, and familial. I will work individuals to analyze their various defense mechanisms and other coping skills used during and following the experience of traumatic stress. Methods used are research based and include: Crisis intervention, Critical incident stress debriefing, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Sensorimotor approaches.

Peace. It's the one thing we all crave, yet it often feels like the most elusive thing to hold onto, doesn't it?

As driven, ambitious entrepreneurs, we're wired to give our all to everything we do. 

We pour ourselves into our businesses, our families, our relationships, and our communities. We take on more and more, convinced that we can handle it all, that we can find a way to make it work.

But here's the thing: if it costs you your peace, it's too expensive. Read that again and let it sink in.

No amount of success, no level of achievement, no external validation is worth sacrificing your inner peace. 

When you're constantly running on empty, when you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious more often than not, when you're neglecting your own needs in the pursuit of pleasing others... that's when you know the price is too high.

So how do you reclaim your peace? It starts with setting boundaries, with learning to say no to the things that don't align with your values and priorities. 

It means carving out non-negotiable time for self-care and rest, even when the demands of life feel relentless. It means surrounding yourself with people who encourage and support you, who remind you of your worth beyond your accomplishments.

Most importantly, it means anchoring yourself in the truth that your identity and value come from God alone. 

When you root yourself in His love and grace, when you trust that He is working all things together for your good, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty... that's when you find unshakeable peace.

So if you're feeling the weight of overwhelm today, if you're questioning whether the cost of your pursuits is becoming too high, take a step back. Breathe deep. Release what doesn't serve you. And lean into the One who promises to give you peace that surpasses all understanding.

You are worthy of peace, my friend. Don't let anything steal that from you. 🙏💗

I'm finally doing that thing....

But not exactly how I thought I would. 

Writing the book... okay.. not THE book. 

That will come later as it felt daunting and like I didn't have enough time or let's be real...energy. 

So I settled for being less than perfect and just got something started and done... that seem manageable and yet still profound.

I'm currently editing my 1st - 7 chapter E-Book: 

Rhythm Over Balance: Finding Your Authentic Pace in a World of Overwhelm:  Embrace Your Seasons, Redefine Success, and Thrive as a Christian Entrepreneur in Just Months—Without the Quest for Perfection

I'm in editing mode and hope to have it out in the next couple of weeks.

Finding a Sustainable Rhythm in the Midst of Overwhelming Responsibilities

Elite-achieving professionals often find themselves juggling multiple roles and responsibilities - from being a devoted spouse and parent to running a successful business. It's easy to get caught up in the myth of "balance" and feel like we're constantly falling short.

But here's the truth: balance is a fairytale. Life is messy and unpredictable, and striving for perfect equilibrium often leads to burnout and frustration. So, what's the solution?

It's time to shift our focus from balance to finding a sustainable rhythm. A rhythm that allows us to prioritize our most important tasks, delegate when necessary, and make self-care a non-negotiable part of our routine. It's not about doing it all, but about doing what matters most and letting go of the rest.

As a Christian professional, I believe that God never intended for us to live in a constant state of overwhelm. He wants us to thrive and use our unique gifts to make a positive impact on the world. However, we can't pour from an empty cup.

So, my encouragement to you today is this: take a deep breath, give yourself grace, and remember that you're not alone in this journey. We're all figuring it out one day at a time. Keep showing up, keep doing your best, and trust that God will guide you to the sustainable rhythm you're seeking.

You are a remarkable individual with incredible potential. Don't allow the chaos to rob you of your joy or your purpose. Embrace the journey and know that you have what it takes to succeed.
