I started my work journey at age 11, delivering newspapers. I made enough money to pay for my own lunch like all the “normal” kids. I made enough for my soccer uniforms, class yearbooks, contact lenses, clothes, shoes, and I even had a few bucks left over every month to “lend” to my young, hardworking, parents when needed. I’m so grateful for growing up "without a net" because I learned many lessons the hard way: - Take ownership. - You can rely on yourself. - You are not entitled to anything. Everything you want must be earned. Doing difficult things, makes you better. It makes you grow. It makes the next thing that comes along seem less daunting. Flash forward to 2023 and I’m recovering from my time as a sales rep in corporate America. These days I’m loving life with my husband and children and doing work that I’m proud of and feel great about! It may sound a little dramatic, but ask myself daily "What's the best thing I can do for my customers today?" Who are my customers? Anyone that buys telecom. I don't sell to my customers.. I buy WITH THEM. I take all of the initial legwork off their plate and meet with vendors, weed out the losers, present the winners and then we decide together which solution is the best.
