Budget vs Forecast
Most finance professionals confuse Budget vs Forecast.

👉 A budget is your destination plan. 
It sets targets, headcount, and costs months in advance. 
Static. 
Annual. 
A commitment.

👉 A forecast is real-time GPS. 
It adjusts when traffic, weather, or roadblocks change. 
Dynamic. 
Quarterly or monthly. 
Always updated.

Here’s the brutal truth:
😶‍🌫️ Rely only on budgets → you stick to outdated goals.
😒 Rely only on forecasts → you drift without direction.

The winners use both.
