Euromersive | European Federation of XR Professionals

Euromersive is the European federation of XR professionals. It was created by a gathering
of European professionals from complementary professions in connection with XR to defend
their interests and structure the immersive content creation sector.
As a board member of Euromersive, I do the following:
- building a strong European community of XR professionals
- representing the XR Community of Ukraine on the European market
- help Ukrainian XR startups scale on the global market
- speaking at conferences and events
- promoting and communicating the value of the XR tech to the corporate and enterprises

As the founder and CEO of WE/AR Studio – ranked among the world’s top 25 AR/VR companies – Daria has partnered with tech leaders like Intel, Qualcomm, Cisco, and Lenovo, demonstrating her ability to manage complex, cross-sector collaborations. 

With a strong background in deep tech R&D and cross-disciplinary project leadership, she has led impactful projects across various domains. Her expertise in orchestrating sizable, dynamic teams has been key to her success in executing high-stakes projects.

Daria founded the XR Ukraine Community to strengthen the XR industry and foster innovation and collaboration both nationally and internationally. She is also a board member of Euromersive and serves as Ukraine Ambassador in Women in Immersive Tech, roles that highlight her dedication to building robust networks for strategic support.

In her work, Daria focuses on amplifying technology’s influence in the humanitarian, healthcare, education, and security spheres.

Here’s our recent development - a Mixed Reality solution for upper limb rehabilitation done in partnership with Cisco Ukraine and Ternopil National Medical University.

The system includes:
	•	A Magic Leap app with hand-drawing in AR
	•	An external Microsoft Azure Kinect camera for full upper-body motion tracking
	•	A powerful therapist dashboard for tracking and analyzing patient progress

On MR video call with the therapist, patient engages in creative drawing tasks to activate shoulder, elbow, and wrist movement — while we track their mobility down to a 1° accuracy. The therapist sees even the smallest improvements, which are often impossible to observe with the naked eye.

By combining Magic Leap’s hand recognition and external skeletal tracking, we’ve achieved highly precise motion analysis and centralized data storage — a major step forward for neurorehabilitation.

The project is now undergoing clinical trials in a Ukrainian hospital, and we’re looking forward to scaling it further with partners and investors.
