If you don’t know how many images you’ve generated…

Do this:
01. Go to Discord.
02. Type “/info”
03. Hit Enter.
04. MJ will provide your generation stats.

If you’ve generated over 100 images…

You CAN access the site.

Then:
01. Go to alpa . midjourney . com (Link in comments section)
02. Connect your Discord account.
03. Start using the Alpha site.

You will NOT be able to prompt on the “beta” site.

(This can get confusing)

Quick Tip:
+ If you’re close to 100…
+ And need some more images. 
+ Rerun some generations. 
+ Or utilize the (repeat) parameter. 

Repeat Parameter:
+ What it does: Automatically reruns prompts.
+ How to use it: add “--r” and then the value. 

Value Range: Varies based on your subscription.
+ Beginner Plan Values: 2-4
+ Standard Plan Values: 2-10
+ Pro Plan Values: 2-40

Accessing Midjourney's New Website.

Can you use your own image with Midjourney’s CREF?

Short Answer: Yes, you can.

It works the same…but…

There are a few things that help.

(I.e character sheets)

Here’s the process:

01. Gather images of yourself
02. Create a makeshift character sheet
03. Use character sheet as CREF
04. Generate more character sheets
05. Use CS’s to place yourself in scenes.

Makeshift Character Sheet Tips:
+ Use tools like canva/figma to construct
+ Use multiple poses of yourself
+ Use multiple angles of your face
+ Try to limit background noise
+ Use Hi-res imagery
+ If you’re images are low-res…
+ Use an upscaler to make them hi-res

Creating MJ Gen Character Sheets:
+ MJ will respond better to MJ generations
+ For w/e reason it reads them better
+ So use your makeshift character sheet
+ To make MJ-generated character sheets

Character Sheet Prompt Structure:
Photo type: character sheet, split 4 photos, shot from multiple angles, Subject: [description] wearing: [clothes], setting: studio, image type: 70mm portrait, high precision --ar {2:1, 1:1, 5:4} --cw {50, 75} --cref [your CS]

CS Prompt Example:
Photo type: character sheet, split 4 photos, shot from multiple angles, Subject: 34 year old man in playful poses, wearing: green tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants, sunglasses, setting: studio, image type: 70mm portrait, high precision --ar {2:1, 1:1, 5:4} --cw {50, 75} --cref [your CS]

Use CS’s For Scene Gen:
+ Use multiple character sheets as CREF’s
+ More data = better results 
+ If the faces are still weird
+ Use Vary Region to select/edit faces 

Scene Prompt Example:

Quick Thoughts:
+ Using Image Prompts of your face can help
+ Play with SREF + CREF for the initial CS gen
+ You will be overly critical lol
+ And notice every feature of yourself

It wasn’t what I expected.

Midjourney released this “room” feature.

It’s a collaborative space.
To interact with other users.
It’s chaotic…but

It’s a great place to learn prompting.

And have some fun.

Midjourney Rooms: 30 Minutes of Chaos.

1 (New) Parameter = 1 Million Options

With Midjourney’s Style Random feature.

Time and time again…

Midjourney releases a new feature

Without much fanfare.

This one is a little different.

You have almost no control…but 

If you want your brain to run wild

This is the feature.

What does it do?
+ It generates an image in a “random” style
+ Giving you unlimited aesthetic options

Here’s how to use it:
01. Create a prompt.
02. Add “--sref random” as a parameter
03. Hit Enter 

Style Random Format: 
vintage sports car --ar 3:2 --sref random

That’s it.

Prompt Example 1:
the perfect 40 m2 vintage shelby cobra, studio dark, checkered patterned floor --ar 2:1 --sref random --stylize 600

Prompt Example 2:
street style photo, streetwear model wearing oversized black attire with neon color pops, thick wide rimmed sunglasses, dark studio reflections --ar 9:16 --sref random --stylize 300

Thoughts:
+ It’s cool, but you have zero control 
+ It’s a great way to burn fast hours lol
+ More fun than functional
+ There’s a ton of unique aesthetics
+ Less detailed prompt = More variation
+ You can transfer the style with SREF
+ Try with varying levels of stylize or chaos 
+ Pair with weird parameter for some craziness
