Today I am channeling some of my "Thinking Smarter not Harder Vibes" Back when I worked in revenue, I used to spend 1+ hour every morning building out our daily pickup and pace reports - manually. One day, my boss casually introduced me to Excel Macros… and it literally changed everything. What took 60 minutes now took 5 minutes. Mind. Blown. 🤯 It was one of my first real lessons in thinking smarter, not harder. Got any “work smarter” moments that changed how you operate? #hospitality #tech #revenuemanagement #smarternotharder #excelmagic
Good time to start thinking about CapEx. Actabl is rethinking the CapEx landscape, shaped by inflation, labor shortages, and tighter margins. If you're involved in hotel asset planning, this is worth the read👇 https://lnkd.in/egn8cqdV #HotelFinance #CapEx #HotelOperations #Actabl

Hey there. Quick Thanks to AI for your help with my new Zoom background. Let's see if this helps me get some more meetings... haha (Feel free to guess the prompt.)
Hey Y'all. As someone who’s worked in hospitality for a while, I know how tough it can be to navigate the unknown, especially when you’re trying to make quick and important decisions. That’s why I love what Lindsey Goedeker shares in this video. ProfitSword by Actabl is all about giving teams the clarity and confidence they need to move forward, even when things feel unpredictable. Definitely worth the watch.#Hospitality #HotelTech #BusinessIntelligence
Big thanks to the Lodgco Hospitality team for the warm hospitality and an incredible time at your conference in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan this week! Grateful for the chance to meet so many great people, explore new places, and build meaningful connections. #HospitalityIndustry #HotelLife #HospitalityEvents
Monday Morning Shower Thoughts... I've been noticing a growing trend with the Apartment style hotels - Aparthotels popping up. Groups like Placemakr and Sonder, along with traditional brands like Marriott and Hilton expanding their extended stay offerings. Comparing them to traditional hotels, these setups offer a hybrid of flexibility, space, and comfort, but not as much service, care and and amenities. Curious to hear from others in the industry - do you see this shift as better, worse, or simply a new option? I tend to think more choices are always a good thing from a consumer’s perspective, but I love the service aspect of traditional hotels and wouldn't want that to diminish. #hospitality #hotels #traveltrends
