No theatre. No fluff.

I thought I knew what strength was.
Then I watched my wife give birth last week.
We got to the hospital at 8:45. 
By 9:10, the midwife just nodded and said, “active birth” had already started.

The room was quiet. Just us, a midwife, and a student who never left. 
First real sunny day of spring in Norway. 

Sun pouring through the window, right onto my wife’s face.
She loved it.

It’s not time either... and

It’s not “I should comment 200 times per week to hack visibility.”

It’s this:
I open LinkedIn and… there’s nothing to comment on.

Okay, not nothing. But random stuff. People I don’t really know. 
Topics I don’t care about. Zero overlap.

2 years ago I followed everyone. My feed was loud, chaotic, kind of fun.
Now it’s quiet, too quiet.

And here’s the funny part: everyone says “comment more if you want to grow.”

I would. Gladly. I actually enjoy commenting.
I just need people worth showing up for.

So here’s my very serious business strategy for today:

If you write sharp stuff, if you have a problem with growing, if you’re building something real.

Honestly, I don't get it.

Here's the thinking:
"Company page = credibility."

But here's what actually happens:
Company pages? Just megaphones.
Founder profiles? That's where trust gets built.
And trust always comes first. Every time.

People don't buy from logos.
They buy from humans.

If someone's thinking about working with you, they're not scrolling your company feed. (read that again please)

They do their homework:
- Your profile
- Your opinions
- Your consistency

That's the real due diligence.
Build trust on your profile first.

Then let the company page amplify it.

Trust → Demand Trust leads to demand. Demand leads to leverage.r way around.

You don’t hate writing. You hate not knowing if it’s good enough.

Founder-led content isn’t disappearing. It’s dissolving.

Okay, here’s what I’m seeing.

AI made posting effortless. So now everyone “has content.” Clean hooks. Neat frameworks. Proper structure. It all looks competent.

But when I read it, I can feel it was prompted. There’s no friction in it. No lived angle. No scar tissue. Just well-arranged sentences.

Here’s the flaw.

Founders think the leverage is in the prompt.

It’s not.

The leverage is in the original insight.

I know because I did the same thing. I started collecting prompts like stamps. Thought if I had the right template, I’d win. What happened? The posts were fine. And completely forgettable.

When articulation becomes free, articulation stops being signal.

Point of view is.

Simple rule I follow now:

During the day, catch one real insight. On a run. In the shower. On the toilet. Doesn’t matter. Write it down raw. No structure. Just the thought.

Then later, you can use AI to tighten it.

But if you open ChatGPT before you’ve done the thinking, you’re already behind.

Frameworks are tools. Not brains.

Too harsh or accurate?

99% of LinkedIn ghostwriters don’t build systems.
They build posts.

4) What outcome actually matters?

And we track what matters:

– DMs
– Follower quality

If your writer can’t explain your system, run.

Be honest, have you seen this happen?

Freelancing is wild: monday I’m buried in deadlines, by thursday I’m casually Googling “how to become a barista at 40” because my brain’s convinced this was my last client ever.
Every single time it panics, every single time the work comes back… and I pretend I never doubted it.

3 reasons your LinkedIn post didn’t flop: it was just vague.

I used to think low engagement meant bad content.

Most of the time, it meant I tried to sound “thoughtful” instead of clear.

Here’s what usually destroys a post:
- Too broad. Trying to speak to everyone.
- Too many ideas. Five lessons, zero focus.
- No defined reader. “People should…” instead of “Founders who…”

Vague feels safe. Clear feels risky.

Fix it like this:

1) Delete your favourite paragraph.
2) Make it about ONE person (CEO, founder, operator).
3) Rewrite the hook as a direct statement.

Low likes isn’t failure.
Confusion is.

Be honest, have you done this?

AI content feels like someone who lied on their résumé.
Got the job. Can’t do the work.

You can tell if a LinkedIn DM is automated without even opening the message
Here’s how:

Change your first name to an emoji.
Move your real name into the last name field.

Now the automation tools start messages like:

“Hi 😊”
....

A real human will still say your name.
So you instantly know what’s automated and what’s not.

No guessing.
No wasting time opening spam.
