•	Worked closely with co-founders to build and iterate go-to-market strategy.
•	Implemented new approaches, resources, and messaging to generate increasing numbers of new leads and boost brand recognition.
•	Created and managed partner program, working with CMO to produce joint marketing activities.

ROI Research On Investment

ROI is a global authority on corporate expansion, providing a variety of services to facilitate investment in new locations, as well as Gazelle.ai (now part of Lightcast), an AI-powered SaaS B2B database that predicts corporate growth.
•	Sold the services of both ROI and Gazelle.ai to senior executives of US and European companies.
•	Advised clients on international expansion projects spanning the Americas, APAC, and Europe.
•	Arranged meetings between foreign-based startups and US VC firms.

Oxford Analytica

Oxford Analytica is a geopolitical analysis and advisory firm that draws on a worldwide network of experts to advise their clients on their strategies, operations, policies, and investments.  I was responsible for selling subscriptions to the Daily Brief SaaS platform in the U.S. market, until the company was acquired by FiscalNote and the position was eliminated.

Gazelle.ai 

Gazelle.ai (now part of Lightcast) is an award-winning B2B platform deploying custom-built AI capabilities to forecast corporate expansion.
•	Spearheaded campaign to penetrate the B2B service provider market.
•	Closed deals with leading firms in accounting, consulting, and corporate real estate.
•	Managed inside sales representatives.
•	Established partnerships that generated substantial new business.

VP Business Development

ROI is a global authority on corporate expansion, providing a variety of services to facilitate investment in new locations, as well as Gazelle.ai, an AI-powered SaaS B2B database that predicts corporate growth.
•	Handled the entire sales process, from identifying targets to meeting with senior executives, often multiple times over a six-month to two-year sales cycle.
•	Client wins ranged from fast-growing startups to large enterprises and national governments.

As part of ROI's contract with the Province of Ontario, I promoted and facilitated direct investment into the province by engaging and advising senior U.S. executives at targeted companies.
•	Consistently exceeded goals, achieving 270% of quota in first year.
•	Landed large deals from Credit Karma, Glassdoor, Slack, Weebly and Wish, among dozens of others.

Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association

Encinitas 101 works with local businesses and governments to preserve, improve and promote the historic downtown district of the City of Encinitas, California.
•	Boosted revenues by 20%, principally by selling corporate sponsorships.
•	Added and expanded events and promotions, generating major increases in event attendance, business participation, media coverage and ticket sales.
•	Handled marketing, events, and community relations, including public speaking and live TV appearances.

AdChoice (sold in 2013) was a SaaS startup that deployed proprietary technology to help small businesses conduct effective online ad campaigns.
•	Secured clients nationwide via cold outreach and the pursuit of inbound leads.
•	Generated substantial increases in revenues/client by selling additional services.
•	Managed the work of subcontractors.

Kids For Peace

Kids for Peace is a non-profit focused on building a worldwide community of kind, compassionate and empowered young people.
•	Grew a small, local activity to a global event, engaging millions of youth across 100+ countries.
•	Recruited and managed dozens of partner organizations and volunteers, worldwide.
•	Conducted all marketing activities, from designing the website, to creating and managing social media accounts, to securing publicity.
•	Won large cash sponsorships from Hasbro and Starbucks, among others.

Invest Australia

Invest Australia (now part of the Australian Trade Commission) was the national government agency charged with promoting and facilitating direct investment into Australia by engaging and advising senior executives.
•	Led the team's effort to attract technology companies to Australia.
•	Engaged senior executives via cold outreach, event attendance, and by hiring a lead generation firm.
•	Worked closely with service providers and government agencies to provide advice and assistance.
