Life sciences founders, you’ve been posting on LinkedIn for a while. You want visibility, leads, or credibility. But nothing happens. So you start thinking: ❌ “My audience isn’t here.” ❌ “The algorithm doesn’t like me.” ❌ “LinkedIn doesn’t work.” That’s not the issue. LinkedIn works. But only if you do it right. Here are three mistakes I still see from life sciences founders: 1️⃣ You post, then disappear 2️⃣ You only talk about your company 3️⃣ You share generic info anyone can find on Google or ChatGPT These habits make your content invisible. What should you do instead? I’ve created a short video to help you resolve these issues. It’s practical and easy to apply. Watch it, then come back here. 👉 What’s your biggest challenge on LinkedIn right now? Reply in the comments. I’ll answer each one. 👇🏻 ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. Most life sciences founders think writing content is about inspiration. It’s not. The real difference isn’t between “creative” and “non-creative” people. It’s between: ↳ those who write consistently, ↳ and those who wait for ideas to appear out of nowhere. Spoiler: they never do. Inspiration doesn’t strike. It builds. And it builds through two things: 1️⃣ Reading. 2️⃣ Writing. That’s it. The people you see writing often don’t have a gift. They’ve built a system. Here’s mine: ✅ I read 2–3 hours a day ✅ I write for 3 hours every morning Not because I’m smarter. But because I’ve made it part of my work. If you’re short on time, start smaller: 1️⃣ Take 20 minutes a day to write in a notebook. Doesn’t matter what it is. 2️⃣ Read 10 pages of a good book and 10 LinkedIn posts from people you admire. Do that for a week. You won’t be “blocked” anymore. You’ll have too many ideas to fit into one post. My rule: No ideas? → Read. Too many ideas? → Write. 👉 What is your routine? Share with us your best tips. 😉 ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. I help life sciences founders like you build visibility, trust, and long-term opportunities on LinkedIn.
Why do some life sciences founders blow up on LinkedIn while others stay invisible? It’s not about how smart you are. You’ve got expert knowledge. You know your field. You even have a few post ideas lined up. But there’s a catch: your audience has never been part of that process. The best content creators in life sciences don’t build their strategy around what they want to say. They build it around what their audience cares about. That’s why their posts work and why yours might not. So, how do you flip the switch? Here’s what I’ve seen work again and again: 1️⃣ Talk to your audience. Seriously. Get in their DMs. Ask them questions. Understand their experience, their roadblocks, and their language. If your content doesn’t sound like it’s written for them, it won’t work, whether your goal is sales, talent, or partnerships. 2️⃣ Study your audience like a scientist. What do they read? Who do they follow? What do they engage with? You won’t stand out by being original. You’ll stand out by being relevant. Say something familiar, but say it in your way, with your lens, your voice, your story. 3️⃣ Turn your comments into posts. Some of my best posts began as comments under someone else’s content. When people engage with your reply, that’s your audience telling you what resonates. Rework it. Repost it. It works. 4️⃣ Use the questions your clients ask you. If customers or investors repeatedly ask the same questions, your audience likely wants those answers as well. Write LinkedIn posts that answer those FAQs, and you’ll instantly be more valuable and visible. Your ideas matter. But your audience’s needs come first. That’s the real foundation of a strong editorial line. 👉 Which question from your audience could become your next post? 📥 Save for later. 💬 Let's discuss in the comments. ♻️ Repost for others. ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. Are you chasing leads or making them come to you? Most life science founders scroll LinkedIn daily. Few have a system to attract the right people. They’re stuck waiting for visibility. No likes, no DMs, no calls. So, let’s flip the script. Here’s one you can try today: 1️⃣ Go to the LinkedIn search bar and hit Enter. Don’t type anything. 2️⃣ Select “People.” 3️⃣ Click “All filters.” 4️⃣ Under “Followers of,” type in a peer, client, or industry voice your audience likely follows. 5️⃣ Add location. 6️⃣ Under “Title,” use Boolean logic to filter your exact ICP: founders, CSOs, BD leads, etc. 7️⃣ Hit “Show results.” 8️⃣ Now add 1-2 keywords that matter to your offer or solution. 9️⃣ Start engaging with that list: comment, connect, and build relationships. 💡 This takes 10 minutes a day. Unlike ads or outreach, you’re not interrupting anyone. You’re building visibility inside their world. Most life science founders are great at science but not always great at being seen. That’s where I come in. I’ve helped over 250 life sciences founders generate leads on LinkedIn. If you’re posting but nothing’s happening, or if you’re not posting at all, maybe it’s time to change how you use LinkedIn. 😉 👉 Do you need help to improve your LinkedIn strategy? When I started as an entrepreneur, I was confident that I would easily sell my service and have many customers quickly. ❌ I was wrong. In the first weeks, I sold nothing except to my first circle of friends. ❌ Wrong communication, not profitable. ❌ Unstructured contact with my targets, which is also not profitable. I almost gave up. Everybody told me to give up. No way. I changed my approach by seeking guidance from exceptional mentors. For two years, I worked full-time without taking any vacations. I didn't want life science companies to make the same mistake that I did. This is what has helped me to: 1️⃣ Generate over 500 leads in 2 years. 2️⃣ Help over 250 founders, marketers and scientists with their LinkedIn strategy. Many of my customers have benefited significantly from my assistance. The best of them generated: ✅ More than 1 million views in 1 year. ✅ Generates 2 to 4 leads every week. ✅ Generates customers every month. ✅ Generates partnerships to develop new products. I've compiled all the best practices into BiologIn. It's the only programme specifically designed for life sciences companies. Success on LinkedIn is not a matter of luck, just method and discipline. Most life science content is hard to follow. Especially on LinkedIn. Too much jargon. No visuals. No story. In this episode, I spoke with Lara Laghetto, founder of Visualmedics Studio , about how to fix that. She’s a trained medical illustrator who helps biotech and pharma companies turn complex science into clear, visual stories that actually land. We covered: ↳ Why overcrowded visuals kill your message (and how to avoid it)? ↳ The one visual mistake biotech founders consistently make. ↳ How to turn dry research into engaging carousels, without a design degree? If you're struggling to make your LinkedIn content clear and memorable, this one's for you. 🎧 Episode 7 is live. 👉 Curious what makes a visual actually work? Most life sciences founders know they should be on LinkedIn. But few actually show up consistently. Not because they don’t have ideas. But because they don’t have time. You are focused on closing your next round, running trials, hiring, and getting the science right. Writing posts doesn’t even make the top 10 on your to-do list. That’s where a ghostwriter comes in. Not to speak for you, but to write with you. You share the ideas, the insights, the voice notes. They turn them into posts that sound like you, without draining your energy. Here’s why it works: ✅ You save hours every week without going silent. ✅ Your message stays consistent, sharp, and strategic. ✅ You stay visible to VCs, candidates, partners, and advisors. ✅ Your LinkedIn becomes a growth channel, not a time suck. And yes, it’s an investment. But so is being invisible. Founders I work with attract talent through their posts. They get intros to investors. They land partnerships after someone scrolls through their content. Not because they posted every day. But because they posted smart. If you’ve got opinions but no time to write them, I can help. 👉 DM me or book a call. Let’s turn your voice into traction. ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. Most life sciences founders don’t burn out on LinkedIn. They fade out quietly because they never really started. They scroll, lurk, overthink. They keep telling themselves, “I’ll post when things calm down.” But LinkedIn doesn’t wait. You don’t flip a switch when you need visibility. You build it before your next raise, launch, or hire. When the moment comes, the algorithm won’t boost your reach. And your network can’t back what it can’t see. So what does staying quiet cost? ❌ Missed intros. ❌ Slower deals. ❌ Unearned trust. You don’t need polished content. ✅ You need presence. ✅ A rhythm. ✅ A voice. Show up twice a week. Just as you are. The real risk isn’t posting something average. It’s staying invisible while your audience pays attention to someone else. 👉 Can you afford to stay silent for another 3 months? ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. A few weeks ago, I declined a client. I needed the money. But I knew quickly the collaboration would be a disaster. He found me on LinkedIn after following my posts for months. He said he liked my content and wanted help with his strategy. The first call went well. He explained his struggles with posting on LinkedIn and building visibility. I looked at his profile and saw he'd already tried. But the results? Poor. I asked how he was managing content ideas, comments, and lead gen. He told me he had worked with several freelancers and tried to implement their strategy. He even gave me their names. I knew a few. Out of curiosity, I reached out to them. They all said the same thing: he was looking for someone to do his job and never paid them. I told him I could only work with him if he paid me in advance. He exploded. He called me a scammer. Because it doesn’t work that way, some founders follow the process and get results. Others don’t do the work. And then blame the freelancer. I'm here to guide you. To give you the power over your LinkedIn presence and generate more opportunities. And not to chase payments from people who move the goalposts depending on how they feel on any given day. If you want help, let the expert do their job. If you don't trust them, don’t hire them. The truth is, your results will reflect the quality of the relationship you build with the people you work with. 👉 How do you work with freelancers? And if you're a freelancer, does this sound familiar? ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien — Founder of Mywebtechcare®. Initially, posting on LinkedIn was merely a means to find clients. I was wrong. When I started in January 2022, I wanted to find my first contract as soon as possible. However, nothing happened as I had expected. It took time. I had to rethink how I used LinkedIn, how I approached founders, and how I presented my work. Still, I didn’t waste a second because while I was figuring things out, I started meeting people I never thought I’d have access to. ❶ I met curious people. They weren’t ready to work with me, but they were intrigued. They helped me shape my message. → Some became clients. Some became friends. Some became ambassadors. ❷ I met people I would’ve never dared to approach. Key figures in the life sciences space. They saw my posts. They messaged me. We had conversations that turned into collaborations. I didn’t chase them. They found me. ❸ And recently, something new happened. Two major global groups approached me. They wanted to make a bigger impact in the life sciences. One project didn’t align with my values, so I declined. The second is in progress, and it’s enormous. I didn’t approach them; they came to me instead. All of this began when I decided to click “Post” one day in 2022. So here’s my message to founders who hesitate: → “I don’t have time.” → “I don’t have ideas.” → “I don’t feel like it.” These are the reasons you’re missing out on the best part of LinkedIn. ❌ Not likes. It's not going viral. ✅ Opportunities, connections, visibility. No regrets. Only people who wish they’d started sooner. 👉 What’s stopping you? ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. Too many founders still think science communication is about "getting the facts right" and "educating the public." But facts alone don’t change minds. That’s one of the key points raised in "An agenda for science communication research and practice" by Druckman et al. The article questions how we communicate science in a world flooded with content, distrust, and polarisation. Here’s the issue: ❌ Scientific uncertainty in the face of a crisis. ❌ Science is increasingly politicised. ❌ Institutions still pretend to be “neutral” while pushing specific agendas. ❌ And communication strategies? Mostly reactive. The default model still looks like this: "We explain. They listen. End of story." But people aren’t empty vessels waiting to be filled with knowledge. Especially not those who are sceptical, disengaged, or burnt out. The article pushes for participatory models instead: ↳ Invite communities in. ↳ Make space for lived experience. ↳ Share power in how science is communicated. When done well, this leads to: ✅ Higher trust. ✅ Less politicisation. ✅ Deeper engagement. But even these models have limits. Too often, they’re performative, one-off, or still driven by scientific institutions, not the communities they're trying to reach. 💡 The takeaway? If your company only focuses on publishing data, facts, or press releases, you're missing the point. Real impact happens when you build communication with your audience, not at them. I help life sciences founders build communication strategies that go beyond broadcasting. We work on relevance, trust, and co-creation. 👉 Could participatory models fit into your strategy? Seven lessons I learned by working with life sciences founders, and I wish I’d discovered them earlier in business. These didn’t come from books. They came from mistakes, wins, and years spent building with clients. 1️⃣ Quality clients > quantity every time. Bad-fit customers drain your time, your team, and your sanity. Three good ones are better than ten toxic ones. 2️⃣ Learn to ask better questions. In sales, in marketing, in management: what you ask shapes what you see. Bad questions lead to bad strategies every time. 3️⃣ The offer matters more than the content. Most people don’t have a marketing problem; they have an offer problem. (Painkiller → Vitamin → Candy. In that order.) 4️⃣ The content that sells isn't the content that goes viral. Chasing likes disconnects you from your market. Focus on Problem → Solution → Proof. That’s what converts. 5️⃣ Focus beats being everywhere. Trying to do LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, a podcast, and YouTube at once? You’ll be average at all of them. Go all-in on one. Get good. Then scale. 6️⃣ If it all depends on your energy, it’s not a business. You can’t sprint forever. Build systems or burn out. 7️⃣ People buy from people they trust. Even the best offer falls flat without connection. But with the right human fit, even a simple offer can fly. I apply these rules in my business and my customers' businesses every day. 👉 Which one is the most important for you? 💬 Let's discuss in the comments. ♻️ Repost for others. ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. I help life science founders grow visibility, trust, and long-term opportunities on LinkedIn.
Most life sciences founders writing on LinkedIn forget one thing. Not everyone reads your post with their eyes. Approximately one in three users experiences vision or hearing challenges. They rely on screen readers. And many posts are unreadable. Here’s how to fix that: 1️⃣ Avoid bold or italic text. Screen readers scramble it. What looks cool to you sounds broken to someone else. 2️⃣ Use emojis sparingly. They’re fine at the end of a sentence. But don’t stuff them in the middle. Imagine hearing “red balloon emoji rocket emoji lab flask emoji” between every line. 😣 3️⃣ Write shorter sentences. Listening requires more focus than reading. Long blocks lose people. 4️⃣ Always add alt text to your images. A simple line helps. Example: “Scientist presenting data in front of a crowded room.” 5️⃣ Don’t use ALL CAPS for emphasis. Use spacing, structure, or line breaks instead. Acronyms like DNA or mRNA are fine. 6️⃣ Keep your posts scannable. Under 1,500 characters is a good goal. Aim for one minute to read or listen. You don’t need to be perfect. However, if you post regularly, it becomes easier for more people to engage with you. Especially the ones we don’t see. 👉 Did you know this? Are you already doing any of these? 💬 Let's discuss in the comments. ♻️ Repost for others. ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. I used to avoid showing my face online. Photos made me uncomfortable. The videos felt even worse. After gaining weight, I felt less confident. So, I stuck to old photos or skipped visuals altogether. But I started changing that. The more I showed up on video or in photos, the more people connected with me. Someone sent me this after watching a short video I posted: “Seb, this is the first time I’ve heard your voice. I already liked your posts, but now I feel like I know you.” That message made things clear. Here’s what happens when you show yourself online: 1️⃣ People connect more with faces than logos. A photo or video makes you easier to remember and more real. 2️⃣ On a feed full of text, visuals stop the scroll. You catch attention without shouting. 3️⃣ Showing your face builds trust. So does sharing your voice, your office, your lab. It feels transparent, even if you're not saying much. 4️⃣ Behind-the-scenes content sticks. A snapshot of your workspace. A quick video at a conference. It gives context and makes your role tangible. 5️⃣ We remember what we see better than what we read. Good visuals help your message land and stay. You don’t need a whole shoot or high-end gear. Most of my posts are made with my phone. What matters is that people see and hear you. You don’t need to share your private life. Just choose small, honest moments that support your message. That’s what the best creators in life sciences already do. And that’s what I’ve started doing, too. 👉 What’s your best tip for taking good photos or videos with your phone? 💬 Let's discuss in the comments. ♻️ Repost for others. ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. Most biotech founders don’t fail because their ideas are bad. They fail because their messaging never stood a chance. Not because they didn’t “communicate benefits” clearly. They wrote posts that ignored how people think. As a founder, you’re used to facts, logic, and evidence. But your audience doesn’t read your LinkedIn post like a peer-reviewed paper. They skim. → They filter. → They fill in the blanks. → Then they forget. The Cognitive Bias Codex is one of the best tools I’ve found for writing posts that work with these patterns, rather than against them. Here’s how to apply it: 1️⃣ Catch attention (Too much info): People are overloaded. You need contrast. → Use the bizarreness effect. Start with something unexpected. → Use the Von Restorff effect. Make one idea visually or conceptually stand out. → Use confirmation bias. Start with what your audience believes, then challenge it. 💡 Instead of “Our study shows a 12% increase,” try: “Most device teams think 40% uptake is the limit. Ours hit 52%.” 2️⃣ Build trust (Not enough meaning): People fill gaps with stories. Give them the right one. → Use the narrative bias. Share a decision, failure, or conversation. → Use the halo effect. Mention credible names or data sources. → Break stereotypes. Show something they didn’t expect. 💡 “We thought this device wouldn’t work in elderly patients. It did.” 3️⃣ Prompt action (Need to act fast): Your reader is scrolling. You need to interrupt the autopilot. → Use loss aversion. Show the cost of ignoring your insight. → Use the sunk cost fallacy. Highlight why clinging to outdated methods hurts. → Use the availability heuristic. Reference a recent news item or post. 💡 “Still relying on 2022 data to plan your 2025 trial?” 4️⃣ Boost recall (What do we remember?): You don’t need to be memorable to everyone. Just to the right people. → Use the peak-end rule. Start strong. End clear. → Repeat key phrases. → Tell stories where the smart choice looks obvious in hindsight. 💡 “We bet on the unpopular strategy. It paid off in 3 months.” Most content tries to sound smart. The best content works with how people think. 👉 Which part of the Codex feels most relevant to your work right now? 💬 Let's discuss in the comments. ♻️ Repost for others. ---- 👋 Hi, I'm Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®. This week, I reached 7,000 followers. Auto-congratulations. 🥳🎉😜 Nobody cares. And it's okay like that. 😉 I saw many people getting angry because some of us don't hesitate to celebrate in public when we reach a certain quantity of followers. Is it bad to celebrate an accomplishment, however small? I don't think so. Some people invest time and energy here to expand their network, increase awareness, and establish trust with their audience. Yes, reaching a number of followers is indeed an accomplishment. Celebrating it is not a problem. 🤗 But you need to be careful. When some of my customers show me their followers or connection numbers proudly, I'm sometimes stunned. The destination should never be to reach a specific number but to build a network and an audience that will help you achieve your goals. If not, it's just a number, and you waste a lot of time and energy. Followers and networks are your compass: ↳ Is the audience the right one? ↳ Did I start relationships with some of them? ↳ Do they help me to reach my goal? What kind of network and audience should you build? Here is my best mix for you: • Your potential customers: they need to know you exist. • Your ambassadors: they speak about you to others. • Your peers: you can support each other. • Your competitors: to know and sometimes help each other. • Top creators in your niche: for your visibility. • Small creators in your niche: to support others. I did that for me and my customers. The results? ✅ We found customers. ✅ We found friends. ✅ We build partnerships. ✅ We build our personal branding. ✅ We build trust with our audience. ✅ We generate opportunities. This is an accomplishment to be proud of! 👉 What about you? What are you most proud of having achieved through your network? ---- 👋 Hi, I am Sébastien, Founder of Mywebtechcare®.
