After an illustrious career growing and exiting 3 businesses, Alex is now the advisor companies turn to when they want to achieve their growth plans. But it hasn’t always been this way. After quitting school halfway through year 11, he launched multiple businesses with little to no success. Hitting rock bottom at 26 with nothing to his name, he refused to quit partnering with a friend to launch a door-to-door sales company in Wollongong. Taking the lessons learned from his first few failures, he built the business from the ground up to become a multi-million dollar company within a very short period of time before ultimately selling it. He then went on to start, grow and exit another company, this time in the automotive industry before launching his speaking and advisory career. Using LinkedIn to grow the business, he witnessed a huge need in the marketplace for companies looking to sell and market themselves on LinkedIn. Not long after, he started his 7th start-up, linkfluencer®. Over the space of the next decade, he grew the business to an international sensation, helping over 35,000 businesses in 65 industries and 35 countries before ultimately selling it in 2023. Along the way, he has been fortunate enough to win numerous awards, judge/present at hundreds of events worldwide and become a spokesperson for entrepreneurship for some of the biggest news outlets around the world. Today, he spends most of his time mentoring entrepreneurs and helping companies sell and market themselves better through Windsor Advisers. A boutique advisory firm he started with long time friend and business partner Mark Middo. When he's not doing business, he likes to get involved in social causes he's passionate about, travels the world, invests in property, spends time with family and is currently training to compete in a marathon.
