I don’t have more time than you.

The last few months I’ve struggled to manage my time which has lead to:

- Recognising when I’m being a chaos junkie and self-sabotaging. As in staying up late, eating 💩, staying at my desk all the time, being exhausted etc. Rinsing and repeating that. No more. 


By taking action to buy back my time, I feel like I’m running the business I’d dreamed of Day 1.

And I just thought ok, if I can make this work with the family, I'm frickin there.

Clarify their message.


Without a clear message, you:
- Attract fewer leads on LinkedIn
- Attract the wrong fit leads/clients
- Find it hard to post valuable content
- Have a website that won't convert
- Struggle to explain what you do
- Rely on word-of-mouth referrals
- Get fewer sign-ups for your email list
- Serve fewer people than you could 
- Get stuck in your business
- Struggle to reach your financial targets
- No matter how determined you are and how much work you put in, you'll stay small.

- Identify the problem you solve
- Decide who you solve it for
- What are the consequences of not solving it?
- What does your client's success look like when the problem is solved?
- What stories or examples can you share that demonstrate this?
- What system or framework do you use to solve the problem?
- What's the transformation your clients experience?
- What testimonials prove your method works? 
- What are you offering for sale? 
- What reaction or action do you want? 


When you flesh out answers to these questions, you'll be well on your way to a clear message.

- No CTA.
- Hard selling. 
- Boring posts.
- No storytelling.
- Wrong platform.
- Getting political.
- AI written content. 
- Low quality images. 
- Getting controversial. 
- Buying fake followers. 
- Overusing automation.
- No captions on videos. 
- Being overly corporate. 
- Using AI for commenting. 
- Constantly self-promoting.
- Bland-sounding brand voice.
- Inconsistent online presence.

Don’t feel bad about doing any of these.

You’re not going to believe what I just found out… 👀🤯


Less than 12% of women hit six figures in their business, and only 1.7% reach the 7-figure mark.


Seriously, I read this statistic somewhere last week, and it surprised the heck out of me. And quite frankly, peed me off exponentially.


So I went down a rabbit hole researching it, and this is what I found out...

In 2022, women-owned businesses:
- 21% had an annual revenue between $100k -$250k
- 32% of the businesses are 0-2 years old.
- 60% showed profitability.
- 76.9% are run by women 35+ years old.
- Earned 88:100 for every dollar earned by men.


What does this tell us?


Those stats aren't just frustrating; they're a wake-up call. It's NOT that women can't build wildly successful businesses; it's that we need to break out of the mould.


Here's where I see things going sideways:

- Too many women play small. We undervalue ourselves and undercharge.
- Many women are afraid to get super specific about who we serve, the problems we solve, and the unique value we bring.
- We are divils for shiny object syndrome and comparisonitis!


Listen, I'm guilty too.


But I've invested a lot in courses, coaches, and mentors to master my business and learn to think differently.


Why?


Because a strong brand isn't just nice logos, websites and colours – it's about commanding what you're worth, standing out in a crowded market, and building something that lasts.


A successful brand strategy is one that outmanoeuvres your competitors so you become uncopyable and unstoppable.


Last year, I cracked the 100K mark. This year, I'm on track for smashing that 250K+ statistic. I'm not sharing this to show off but to show you it's possible.


I know that money is not everyone's primary driver, but let's be honest: having it come in consistently makes life easier and better.


So, what's my hot take?


It's time for strategy over struggle.


It's time to ditch the one-size-fits-all advice and build businesses that are undeniably, unapologetically you.

Here’s what sets them apart. The business owners are:

- persistent
- relentless
- adaptable
- resilient
- problem solvers
- decision makers
- action takers


They ask for help.
They put in the hours.
They work with mentors.
They stay on course to avoid shiny objects.


Success doesn’t have a silver bullet.


It requires reps.


With relentless effort, clear focus, and a willingness to adapt, YOU can be the one thriving at year five (and beyond!).

By this I mean focus on:
- ONE offer
- ONE platform
- ONE message

Simplify everything. Get clea. Get intentional.

The type of content to create for LinkedIn so it does its job.

It's easy to get stuck in a content rut.

Posting the same format of posts time and time again.

But if...

- your followers aren't growing
- you are not getting much engagement
- you're not converting followers into clients

It may well be time to review and tweak the type of content you're posting.

Because, at the end of the day, if you keep doing what you've always done, you will keep the results you're currently getting. You've got to ask yourself, "Will this get me where I want to be in the next 6 months?"

Attracting clients who can’t afford you is a waste of your time and theirs. 


But worse, it’s…

- disheartening
- deflating
- frustrating 


Here are a few reasons people will object to the price:

-they genuinely can’t afford you
-they don’t see the value
-someone else controls their spending


The good news is you don’t need to drop your rates.


It’s about focusing on what will attract the RIGHT clients - the ideal paying kind!


Your messaging is the key to fixing this!

1️⃣ Talk about what their life/biz LOOKS like AFTER working with you

2️⃣ Specificity attracts, so get specific about WHO you help best.

3️⃣ Share a testimonial (even anonymised) showing the ROI a past client got.

4️⃣ Qualify leads early to save everyone time.

5️⃣ Own your worth. Think about the value your clients will get when they solve the problem.

6️⃣ Use the exact language your ideal paying clients use to describe the problem.


Your image sends a message, too. 

As in, 
- do you look professional, fun, friendly, etc?
- how you layout your posts creates an impression. 
- Is your profile in the first or third person (make sure it's in the first )?
- That photo of you when you were 21 is fab. Put up something that looks like you today!


When I changed my messaging in this way, I became oversubscribed with 1:1 clients. I had to start a mastermind to serve more people and scale my business. This works.
