It started as a simplistic WordPress website showcasing our portfolio of courses. With time, our team started growing and we developed more complex software solutions until we launched our own learning management system and developed comprehensive in-house marketing expertise.

My role was closest to that of a COO. My OCD has always been preoccupied with structuring work and developing processes in order to never miss a step or a deadline. Therefore, scaling our team and processes was more of a relief (of my obsession for structure), rather than an occupation. 

But as a co-founder I have worn many different hats with the C- in front: CFO, CTO, CMO. Nonetheless, I have never neglected the specific business driving activities of our industry, such as creating and editing content (video and text), content dissemination (automatic, semi-automatic, and unfortunately, at times, manual), social media management automation, technical SEO, tracking, ads management (running Facebook ads until my last day) and probably many more.

On the managerial side, apart from overseeing most processes, I was head of content creation and have personally read and edited all the educational content that came out of 365 Data Science. This has proved invaluable for expanding my programming knowledge base and providing me with incredible breadth of data science skills (all types of statistics and machine learning, incl. regressions, clustering, dimensionality reduction, credit risk models, price elasticity models, visualizations, feed-forward neural networks, convolutional neural networks, and more). 

In December 2020, I exited 365 Data Science to devote more time to other projects.

To explain Jeko in a post is laughable.

👉 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹
Build a sales team that closes deals with a 20% higher velocity than a competitor who has a 20% better product, and in less than 5 years, you will have won by a big margin in both the valuation and the product war.

👉 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆
Strong sales training eats industry connections for breakfast: A disciplined salesperson with zero industry connections but strong sales training and discipline will outperform an industry veteran with poor sales training… shockingly, companies often choose the latter and even spend 2-3x more for it.


These come from conversations I had with Jeko, some about our ongoing negotiations with Fortune 500 companies, others about shaping our hiring strategy!

Magic happens when you find someone better than you… who is willing to devote his time to you.

It's so s*it when disruptors fail.

WeWork-
The brightest 'disruptor' that recently failed. 


WeWork has one of the best products I've used. 
They literally made coworking spaces a thing.

+ their locations are nothing short of extraordinary (see photos).

+their hot desk is the best thing on the market for people who travel a lot (I pay $300/m and have a desk in any WeWork around the world).

For the past 2 weeks I've been working in a different WeWork every day. And it's the best thing ever. Yet WeWork failed.

In a similar vein, Uber was unprofitable for many years, YouTube!!!!, and so many more. True disruptors are bound to be unprofitable for a long time. 

As we are filling the Team-GPT Enterprise sales team with TOP TALENT who worked at WeWork for 5+ years (first, ex-Global Head of Strategic Growth, then ex-Head of Nordics), I can't help but feel even sadder about WeWork.

Is there anything we can do about this?

Maybe use WeWork enough to revive it?


I have died many times.

A project that got out of hand?
Our apartment. 

My wife and I always dreamed of decorating our own place. And we did- but it was sooooo hard to execute! This project was way out of my depth. 

Why? To begin with:

It’s a full-time job, really! 

One that many others have figured out already. Yet for some reason, everyone thinks ‘they’ll figure it out’.

It’s the same with AI.

So many people are figuring it out independently.

Every smart leader knows they need to empower their organization with AI. Yet, most don’t understand when to go for AI, ChatGPT, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents or something else.

and not at all the real you. 
 
That's two opposing thoughts... 
and yet both of them are true. 
 
It is 100% you... because it came out of you. You made it up - it lived inside of you. At the same time, you are not the 3-10-50 posts you have posted. That's a rather flat representation of your deep personality.  
 
This creates a rather clear issue:  
 
🤷‍♂️ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲. 𝗕𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 
 
Knowing this is true...

To me- 
The clear answer is to be very intentional with crafting your social media persona. 
 
When posting online, you choose! 
 
Are you the sexy chick, witty mind, humorous character, ultimate troll, or the wise guy (in the image). 
 
What are your motivations to post in the first place? 
 
There are different reasons to post: 
👉 Marketing and promotion 
👉 Personal expression 
👉 Sharing information 
👉 Political advocacy  
👉 Motivating others 
👉 Network building 
👉 Education 
👉 Activism 
 
 
While choosing to pursue any one of these, you are grossly underrepresenting all other parts of you. 
 
Since a distorted version of you is projected - you might as well take it to a desired extreme.  
 
On LinkedIn, I work on my business. 
On Facebook, I do political advocacy. 
On Instagram, I craft the cutest reels. 
 
You, the poster, should be extremely aware of who you want to be online.  
 
And you, the reader, should not judge a book by its social media persona.

The phrase was popularized by Marc Andreessen and Balaji Srinivasan.  
 
The idea maze refers to multi-year plans that explore many possible paths according to how the world changes.

How does one solve the 'AI adoption' maze. What is the action point? 
 
To adapt Balaji's words: 
 
𝟭. 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 (𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵)  
If it has has been tried before (and almost all good ideas have), you should figure out what others did right and wrong. A lot of this knowledge exists only in the brains of practitioners. You need to talk to other AI adoption leaders!  
 
E.g.: I spoke to 100+ enterprises to see how they do it! 
 
 
𝟮. 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆)  
See what others are doing... and copy it! If you are an Enterprise company, see how other enterprises are doing it. If you are a marketing agency - see what other agencies are doing.  
 
 
𝟯. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.  
There are now decades of ideas, frameworks, and research on SOFTWARE adoption + historical data on first movers that smart observers have sifted through to develop further theories. Some of these come from academia but increasingly they come from the industry.
